My favorite is obvious the Hell Marches:

others are Shogun Executioner attacking, Mecha Storm, No Mercy, and Act on Instinct

I know, RA3 kinda sucks, but the music was awesome, and well it was fun to use the Executioner in the campaign (oh hi, nice Tesla weapons, it'd be a shame if I used it for power).
others are Mecha Storm (beating the shit out of someone with Empire, can't find the actual music),
Here we go.
Honestly, I mainly got Red Alert 3 specifically because of OST. Not the best choice of mine, but I did ultimately enjoy it. I just wish EA picked it up for more expansions, because Uprising was actually interesting and here and there you would notice the efforts of keeping some set pieces, perhaps for future merchandising that never happened.
Also, I do love the Red Alert 3 lore building - it felt interesting, unique, and I wish they actually did anything with it. Hell, Twinblades being Commissars, Terror Drone origins, etc.
Also, music. I won't lie, I mainly love this theme because for me, the Allied Uprising campaign has been me just spamming Harbingers, because hey, why not?

Frank is fucking A+

Got damnit can we get a new proper C&C game EA please - with base building, and walls? They could do a collab with petroglyph or something.

Thanks buddy. I always enjoyed it when I was playing as Empire and destroying everything in my path while that was playing.
The problem was they went full camp/fanservice. RA2 wasn't serious, but it did have some dark parts like Chicago being nuked, [sp]Carville's death[/sp], the intro of YR, and other parts I forgot about. RA3 had just "good" Allies, but went all out with fanservice (seriously, aren't you supposed to be wearing actual war work clothing).
It would have been better in the campaign if there were dark parts like seeing the Allies being pushed back by Apocalypse tanks or King Onis, a Soviet city being decimated, or in a mission, you learn that one of the leaders was killed/has died or fail to save a leader (hell, maybe make it so before the 8th Empire mission, the old Emperor gets killed or dies in a blaze of glory attacking the Soviets).
I would say RA2 is better because it has its charm and it still felt like a war. RA3 isn't bad (compared to that game that shall not be named), but it had wasted potential. Uprising did have some dark moments (thanks to Yuriko's campaign and Soviet campaign), but it was a bit too late in my opinion.
What would you have changed to make RA3 better?
1. No co-commanders. They got old fast unfortunately. They could have had side-factions like KW, or countries with 2-3 exclusive units/buildings.
2. 8 or 10 players allowed. Come on, reducing it wasn't good.
3. Options for multiplayer/skirmish, maybe have all kinds of game modes like CTF, no bases, access to every faction's buildings, to even a crate war that also has detrimental effects.
4. Upgrades, you really need to ask? Of course, it could have been better support powers.
5. Radar going offline if you lose your ConYard or you are low on power. There were no problems if you have low power since you can still see your enemies and find them. They could have made it so if you had low power, you would essentially be blind (no quotes from EVA(using EVA in terms of assistant)).
6. Longer campaigns.

Shame on you, no Grinder? But yes, essentially the entire music of the series is awesome.
Unfortunately we might not see a new C&C game, and I don't really trust EA after that game they released last time in the series. But if it is, hopefully its RA4 and they dial it down a notch. It doesn't have to be C&C3/TS dark, but maybe make it like a modern RA2 but with Allies/Soviets/Empire.
Speaking of RA2, I decided to reinstall it, mods I am getting are obvious, C&C Reloaded and Mental Omega.
I opted to avoid grinder since it and hell march are the most common ones people point to and I didn't want to spam YT links
I actually just got Mental Omega myself

How far along is Tiberian Sun in this?
I'm curious because I tried RA2 but I'm noticing things that are off right off the bat (volume levels are fudged, the downloader crashes for RA2 but not for TS, attack dogs, lack of menu background to name a few) but TS has a menu, and all the units I tested seem to feel fine and act properly. The only thing i noticed was how air units don't land on the ground.
I'm just curious if there's something under the hood I'm missing or if I can play this with friends and have a relatively proper TS experience but with OpenRA's UI/game improvements

I think that locking essential UI elements behind in-game things like tech level or power is outdated design. A much better way to implement this, in my opinion, is to reduce the sight range of your units when you're out of power or something like that. The UI should be there to make playing the game as smooth as possible and not to intentionally handicap the player.
where THE fuck is the generals music guys?

On the topic of C&C music and the man Frank Himself, how many tracks can you find just a little bit of No Mercy, specifically the so called 'Kane Stinger', which can be heard in the first 30 seconds.
It can be heard at the end of Hellmarch 2, around 2:50 in the track. It's snuck into at least 12 other of his tracks, and I don't think he's scored a game without hiding the little 10 second no mercy bit in there somewhere.
I swear I once heard C&C 3 music play on a scene in a history channel documentary where young jesus runs from the romans

It's German, "Die Waffen, Legt- An!"
"Ready Weapons, Fire!".
Played a bunch of TD in OpenRA today with a few friends, shit is way more fun than I was expecting considering I haven't played the original C&C in a few years
Also i reinstalled TW and what the fuck? I didn't realize C&C 3 was locked to 30 fps!? (result of being on console?) I found a patch to fix it but gamespeed is tied to framerate, at least in RTS games you can change it though.
Was there never any official 60fps patch or fix that didn't rely on you tweaking the gamespeed?
I added Tiberium Essence though and holy shit GATES, and TITANS

How have I never heard of this mod before? It feels like a legit continuation of TS.
I don't know why but being able to wall in an outpost or base in an RTS game has always made me super happy
EDIT: The 60 FPS patch i got doesn't do the campaign, is there anything that works for it, or do I really have to just deal with it
I like the sound effect and animation that plays when the radar shuts down in Tiberian Sun

I'm with you on the whole walls-thing; I've spenty hours building fuckhuge GDI bases in TE. There's just something about starting out on an empty field then an hour later it's a fully functioning airbase with Orca patrols monitoring the perimeter and APCs travelling back and forth between nearby outposts (thank god for the patrol command).
Does it have concrete tiles though? I need that flooring.

Aw man, crush is easily my favourite RA1 song. "Remixed" it ages ago when I was younger, was a bit naff but fixed a few things:

Love all of Frank Klepacki's music, really big influence on me. Probably why my preferred music taste is quite minimal and more instrument focussed
Very nice! I also had an old one that i have "tried" to remix is the tension from RA2. It is 5 years ago i've made that one.

And 3 years ago, i made my own little twist on a RA1 version remix thing later on.

The whole series has a godly soundtrack, but to me, nothing will beat Act on Instinct
binging some CnC Zero Hour Rise of the Reds lately
its amazing that this and Battlefield 1942 were my first games as a small 4 year old introduced to the gaming world by my oldest brother who was like 13 at the time, and to this day I still annually have a little nostalgic binge sesh
I like the sound effect and animation that plays when the radar shuts down in Tiberian Sun
Why couldn't the rest have those animations when you lose radar?
Also, maybe it's because I suck at it, or it has been a long time, but Mental Omega's easy AI is hard as hell. Some people apparently say MO's Easy is Vanilla's Brutal.
Despite the difficulty, it is enjoyable, I like using Wings of Coronia when fighting against the Pacific Front. Any tips for MO before trying online?
Against the AI, it's better to turtle until you unlock tier 3 units. Don't forget to protect your miners and build at least 2 of them. Also, build anti infantry vehicles if fighting against Allied Siege Cadres.
