Just got a chance to play it today, it's pretty good, better than base Sims 3 anyway.
The lack of differentiation between the ages is really annoying though.

(I absolutely used the kids ship when the convo was over)
My first legacy save began with Taylor and Andrew, siblings and good friends, they did everything together.

So then I go to the bathroom for 5 minutes and come back to this devastating scene;

After a brief plead to the reaper from Andrew (by which the reaper refused)

Apparently the "Mosaic glitch"/DRM whatever, can be fixed by changing the name of one file.

Anyone know if Sims 4 allows for custom TV shows like the Sims 2?
This is something I always wanted in Sims 3.
While I may accept that open world was removed for performance reasons, they could have at least created an illusion of a large world.
For example, in careers, while you can still socialise at work, you don't actually create any relationships at all. I'd just like the game to randomly assign 3 or more Sims into your career path and you gain a relationship boost with those Sims.
Just finished creating my house, had like, 1,500 left over, I have my Sim make herself Grilled Cheese, sets herself and the cooker on fire, and the counter next to it, had to replace both, setting me back now to 283...
How do you change the makeup on females? I couldn't find anywhere to do it, my sim has bright red lipstick on and I want to change it.

No surprise that DRM that was worked on, probably over critical issues within the game, can so easily be done away with. Who does this ever benefit anyway

What is the fishing and collecting (gems, metals, etc.) like in comparison to Sims 3? I can't find any information on that.
So are the careers any fun?
