I too caved and bought it
Banged a single mother of two on the first night now we're married and she had like $110k so bam, also the wedding took place in a park... I assumed there would be an arch and seats and a vicar but nope we just exchanged vows infront of two dudes playing chess
mooooooooooo (i grew a cow plant)

So far I can't seem to get other Sims to get eaten, so my plan for eternal youth isn't working out so well.

Looks like it's possible!

Milking the cowplant works, although drinking the milk does not reset the age of your Sim.

Now kill her.
Isn't that how some guy "won" Sims 3? He womanized a rich chick, got hitched, became part of the family, and then killed her off so he still had all the money? All within a few minutes

Robbaz is a quality stream
Turned Don Lothario gay. The future of Bella Goth is now secured
Welp, moved my sim in, built him a nice house, neighbour came over and became friends, went to make grilled cheese, burnt the house down and died in the fire. Didn't save since moving into the house so have to rebuild from scratch.

Is there no autosave? In a Sims game?
Is there no autosave? In a Sims game?
There has never been autosave.
I'll never bang Emma Watson Sim now.
I caved and bought the game.
So did I...but I did manage to save some money though. By visiting Mexico (Whistles nonchalantly).
I only played for like 2 hours and like one of those hours was spent entirely with the Create a Sim feature. I'm not yet ready to comment on what I think about the overall game, but that Create a Sim tool is really nifty and fun.
I am so bad at house design, the house that burnt down was some giant modern house using the prebuilt rooms. Can't even think of how to design my own house properly.
Is the new Sims worth it? $69.99 is a pretty big price tag and I know nothing of whether or not Maxis has redeemed themselves.

Don't get it on origin.
No game is worth that price.

come on now, origin isn't that bad
biggest downside to it is that nobody uses the community features and it's essentially drm with a pretty loading screen and built in chat

I think he meant getting it through Origin is 3x more expensive than other places, so no one should buy it from there.

I'm not forking out £50 for any game any time soon wither the platform is good or not.
I don't mind origin, but I do mind its prices.
So my friend made me and put me in her game, and apparently he keeps showing up at her house in the middle of the night in his PJs and plays on the computer all night
EA knows me too well

eh my bad, I read it as another one of those 'hur dur EA is evil' posts
i thought £50 was normal price for a fresh, big budget AAA game nowadays
out of interest do you get the preorder bonuses if you buy it through some other site?
Sorry, I didn't follow the whole thread and I don't like watching other people play - may I ask one simple question: What is there to do in The Sims 4?
There are the (probably pretty unspectacular) careers, there are some skills to work on but what else is there?
In the Sims 3 I additionally was able to collect all the (in my opinion really useful) lifetime rewards, I had wishes to fulfill and I could become a tycoon buy buying up the city's commercial lots.
If the things listed above are everything the game has to offer (apart from the emotions I couldn't care less about) then there's something missing for me.
haven't played 3 in ages, forgot I had installed a better-spreading fire mod, overcooked grilled cheese sandwich, fire spread to the kids room and just enveloped him :(

For me the Sims has always been about starting with one Sim and just playing generation by generation. Boosting their skills and fulfilling their Lifetime Aspiration. I think both of those are in Sims 4 so that's cool. I've only played the demo.
But the careers are a bit lacking. I'm gonna wait for an expansion pack and buy it in a bundle.
£25 from a cd key site instead of origins' rediculous prices, went ahead and bought it. However doesn't unlock till midnight here because I'm a UK peon. Won't be able to play anyway as I have to be up early for work. Probably going to be playing sims for most of saturday and then i'll get bored lol
I'm watching Robbaz's stream right now and it seems like he has 2 wives? I never really thought that was possible in The Sims.
Newsflash:
Fucking Snoop Dogg in disguise invaded my date with Luna Lovegood...

Arya Stark is depressed...

...and Draco Malfoy attempted to sexually harass TWD's Clementine.

Another fine day.
People were ordering from CDkeys.com, right? They say they need my fucking photo ID to verify the purchase. If this isn't the shadiest fucking thing I've ever bought, I don't know what is. I could have bought weed in high school under better circumstances.

You could try CJS CDkeys
So I understand they removed story progression for The Sims 4, but you can have the neighbors age, right? But they don't have kids or anything?
And when you go to a community lot, does time 'freeze' for your home lot as it did on The Sims 2?

Time still progresses.

Damn, I'm this close to getting it, since it sounds like it's the best Sims game yet for just like, playing around with your sims - Which is my favourite part.
