i really love the music too and how they, like, blend together when you change from the build mode to the buy catalogue
Ok, so I got the game. I've been a giant fan of the series since the very first game, and played the shit out of every other one that was on PC (barring 3, which ran like dogshit), so I was expecting to have mixed expectations And, shit, I really like it! It even runs aight on my aging laptop - true, it looks like a jagged mess with everything set to low but it's a smooth jagged mess with nice animations. And it's the first game where I could actually recreate myself. The new body customization owns. I'm gonna miss the pools, probably, but I couldn't care less about toddlers (pretty cool idea but massively annoying in practice, they weren't fun to play at all) or any of the other shit. The new interface is fuckin' beautiful and we really did go a long way from the first game's Comic Sans laden blue gradiented bulbous 90s design nightmare. The new house design options, like wall height, are awesome. The clothes are actually (mostly) something people would wear in real life, which is a massive step forward (and at the same time an annoying step backward since not only do we still have full body outfits that can't be recreated with separate options, they have some really rad shit in them (I want a separated version of that army jacket, dammit)) I do have one problem though. The wish/mood icons, the background of the town map, and the splash screen you get between the intros and the loading screen are absolutely fucked up - they look corrupted or somethin'. Anyone else getting that? It was the same way in the CAS demo. I can't update my graphic card drivers (never buy an Acer) so that's probably it, but I figured I might as well ask in case there's some fix I'm missing
I merged two households and was trying to locate everyone. I found the Khaleesi in a park on the other side of town, sitting completely alone at a table full of hotdogs. [t]http://i2.minus.com/iUQOfp1Z4aTnr.jpg[/t] And I've made a house as well... [t]http://i4.minus.com/iDlvXVDIv7WMh.jpg[/t]
That's so ugly and random that it actually looks pretty good
I hope they do a thing like battefield for expansions as i'd buy it, the only sims game i bought them for was the first sims
That's so ugly and random that it actually looks pretty good
I like the way the balcony's structured, seems more like an extra hallway.

After 10 hours, heres a short list of pros and cons (personal opinion inbound!) Pros: The new Emotions system is fantastic. Being able to tell when my Sims are feeling Uncomfortable/Happy/Flirty is a huge guide for how they're going to behave and what they want to do. Peeing like a champion/angry pooping will never get old either :v: Countdown til food spoils is a huge help. Different wall heights and being able to move objects up or down a wall adds a whole new level of detail, as does turning off auto-counter placements and seeing the large number of different counter styles! Cons: I really cant get to grips with the UI. Being used to the action menu being top right, I often lose focus on it now its tucked bottom left and vertical. The Build/Buy mode UI is also awful. As nice as the filtering is, trying to use the "old" buy mode (sorted by chairs/tables/electronics etc) just becomes an absolute nightmare to navigate. Neigbourhoods are way too small. 3 or 4 empty plots per neighbourhood is super restrictive. Lack of content. Theres a lot of cool new stuff in the game but it all runs in the same Sims fashion. Low end items all look crap. High end items look crap. Seriously I want a bed with top ratings that ISNT a horrible wooden overdesigned antique looking thing! No Create a Style. Why on earth was that removed?! Easily the best mechanic in a Sims game to date. Now I am horribly restricted when it comes to customising a house.
Is the Sims 4 worth buying if I don't want to soak any of my cash into the DLCs? Really unsure.
Is this 1 disagree a unanimous decision that the game isn't worth it or?
Is this 1 disagree a unanimous decision that the game isn't worth it or?
Honestly I'm having a lot of fun with the included content but your mileage will vary depending on what your play style is. I'd say go for it but buy it through the Mexican Origin storefront using a VPN to save money. Modding this game is shockingly easy too.
My biggest gripe that I am having with The Sims 4 is still not having the open world. What I loved about The Sims 3 was starting from scratch, building a family all the way up, and managing six-eight Sims at once. Blame Starcraft for my love of micro management. The emotion system is awesome, same with the new build tools. Loading screens are nothing cause I have the game on an SSD, but if I want to go somewhere; I try to make it worth the trip so I don't have to reload back home.
If there are any Sims 2 mods, are there any recommended mods to have?
Nude mod
I'm making a house, but I'm getting a weird sense of Deja Vu [t]http://puu.sh/bpidN/328d49ec36.jpg[/t]
I dont know why, but I get a weird feeling by looking at this...
Nude mod
I'll be honest, I can't wait for a mosaic removal mod to come out. I'm not looking for full on nips and camel-toe. I found the game was a lot more pleasing to play not having that blur always in the way if you're pooping or showering. [editline]7th September 2014[/editline] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Ms8idt4.jpg[/img_thumb] I also find it awesome that befriended sims actually come and knock on your door to hang out. Though I wish there was a way to make my sim feel creeped out whenever his love interest knocks on the door about six to eight times a day. Especially when he is at work. :v:
Just like when I take a trip to the lounge and have a group chat with multiple sims the next day while I'm at work some fuckin old mother fucker just goes into my house, takes a shit, takes the trash out and leaves like dude who are you
Bob pancakes just died. Havent felt this upset over a fic character death since twdg season 1. RIP in peace, would have made u 100 pancakes if i could
Auto-Roof tool, come back baby, Burnyhands misses you.

Where can I buy this game for a cheap price, not online?
http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=533172
I'm pretty sure this will spark the release of nude 'body' mods and stuff like that. Hell, there's even one site dedicated to sex and nude stuff for the Sims series
turns out sims can still use certain objects that are scaled up, like the tablet for example which engulfs the whole sim when scaled up and used.
I'm pretty sure this will spark the release of nude 'body' mods and stuff like that. Hell, there's even one site dedicated to sex and nude stuff for the Sims series
tbh I can never find any good mods for any of the sims games. Everyone talks about how great the game is with mods but I never found anything that I thought was really worth downloading except for some unofficial patches.
My sim has now decided it's not awkward to go into his daughters room, in his underwear, to read her a story. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/wdXezZc.png[/thumb] Seriously, I thought him going into her room with milk to talk in his underwear was bad, this just gets worse.
Dude that's pretty normal shit for dads. Dads are weird and give no fucks. Wants to talk? Also drinking milk and only wearing underwear? Well hey there kiddo what's going on??
Is the house on the gallery? It looks pretty cool.
It's not. On the gallery, I mean. And I don't want to get into details... But thank you!
[sp]He does this everyday.[/sp]
Obviously the sim that lives in that house is only pretending to not be there because there's a fucking ginger at the door
Dude that's pretty normal shit for dads. Dads are weird and give no fucks. Wants to talk? Also drinking milk and only wearing underwear? Well hey there kiddo what's going on??
I can confirm that my parents will just come into my room randomly and do the most awkward shit. I'd just be reading FP minding my own B when my mom comes in, picks up the bag of chips next to me and starts eating out of them while looking at my screen where I just happened to be reading the post of a man whose title is GIGANTIC PEDOPHILE and has a very suggestive avatar that contains a shark [editline]7th September 2014[/editline] people say "oh my parents just don't understand" but seriously I could never explain facepunch to my parents
[thumb]http://puu.sh/bq39K/8d77ecb7b1.jpg[/thumb] Looks like my sim is gonna be taking a MEGABYTE! HAH! HAHAHA!
