Wish I could make good homes. I hit my pinnacle with that mission house I built :v:
I always start with modest plans, but my houses always turn into overcomplicated abominations, that cause lags, in the end.
I bit the bullet and bought it, and so far don't regret it. It's actually pretty damn fun
The regrets will come when they start releasing tons of overpriced expansion packs.
My one family I made like a sitcom. It's two sisters, (one brainy and techy, the other outdoorsy and gardeny) that were having a rough time financially and decided to take on a roommate to try and make ends meet. Enter ancient chinese warlord Lu Bu.
I'd watch it. :v: Sounds better then what's on most tv channels these days.

Who all would be interested in the going ons of such a group? Edit: I sent Bror Brodinson to go over and hang out with Lu Bu and the gang. He stood outside for two hours, twiddling his thumbs, went inside, introduced himself, went to the bathroom, broke their toilet and then pissed all over their floor before he left. what

Along the way he learns of how to forgive others, and that maybe, just maybe, family honor isn't the most important thing in the world.
I still can't play and EA don't give a shit.
Just get a refund on your purchase before it's too late. Then try again another time or get the sims 1 complete and have more fun.

An update was released today.
Update: 9/9/14 TIP: If you are not being prompted to download the September 9th patch for The Sims 4, please exit completely out of Origin and then restart the client, this should then prompt you to download the latest patch. New Additions *New decorative object! The High-Rider Gnome has journeyed long from his hidden grotto in the tropics to join you in The Sims 4. He’s eagerly awaiting your arrival in Build Mode, ready to grace your homes with his feats of stationary flamingo bronco busting! Look for him in Build Mode in the Outdoors or Decorations sorts, or type Gnome in the search box. *Sim and object highlights can now be toggled on/off by entering hovereffects on/off in the cheat console (this will eliminate the white border on a Sim or an object when you hover over it to interact). In addition, you can add -nohovereffects to the Command Line Arguments. In order to add the argument: Open the Origin client, right click on The Sims 4 game box art, select “View Game Properties”, click “Game Properties”, enter -nohovereffects into the text box, and then click Apply. Bug Fixes / Issues *Fixed an issue with some gallery downloads that were causing the game to hang. *Fixed several bugs that would result in incorrect relationship states between Sims. *For players using the “cas.fulleditmode” cheat to go back and adjust Sims after they’ve been created, note that using this cheat will still allow you to manually select invalid relationships. Please exercise caution when changing relationships while using this cheat. *The automated filtering used for Gallery uploads was unintentionally blocking the words “gay”, “homosexual”, or “homosapien”. It has now been fixed and these terms will not be blocked or prevented. *Fixed a crash that would result if a block without walls was saved as a room.
I wonder if Cox got unblocked (heh)
I was a heavy Sims 2 player when i was a kid. Now i've just decided to play the sims 3 i got for free on origin (humble bundle or some shit i think). I haven't had this much fun in years, but the game stutters a bit, framerate is good. Anyone know how to fix stutter?

so uh I found out that when a sim passes out, it looks hillarious, so I took a video of me, and made a music video. great game

Is it just me or has the most recent patch broken using 0-3 to control the simulation speed? [editline]9th September 2014[/editline] Nevermind, randomly started working again.
Opening and closing the escape menu seems to solve it
Yeah, that works for me. Silly bug.
Welcome to Sunny Santiago, a house with an exterior kitchen where rain is no issue! How is that possible, you ask? You see, it never rains here in Oasis Springs, so take a seat and enjoy whoever appears behind the microphone over there on the bridge! Oh, and please, don't eat the fruit from that table - it's plastic. [t]http://i4.minus.com/iYps85rKZytKc.jpg[/t]
bombin' house
How the hell did you make straight lines with the terrain paint? I can never do it right.
How the hell did you make straight lines with the terrain paint? I can never do it right.
You change to the square tool, instead of using the circle one.
I think once some expansions come out The Sims 4 will be the first Sims game I buy since the original. It looks like how I remember The Sims in my head, and not the depressing reality of what I see on screen. I tried playing The Sims 2 the other day and it was painful to look at, the aliasing hurts my eyes.
You change to the square tool, instead of using the circle one.
You don't understand. It's like, whenever I try to be precise, I get parkinsons.
You don't understand. It's like, whenever I try to be precise, I get parkinsons.
Use some floor tiles as a stencil, it helps a lot.
Tried making a Japanese temple style house [t]http://i.imgur.com/by4W9Cz.jpg[/t] No interior and I'm still working on the exterior and foliage has yet to be placed
