I keep getting this weird "soft" freezing, where the game isn't crashed, and you can still click around in it and the mouse sorta interact with the UI, but you can't do anything. I'm frozen on the build screen right now. It better have fucking saved too because I was 3/4ths done with a house.

remove a piece of wall in the first floor and try to put the fountain
if you placed it, seal the first floor

Origin's honestly pretty good and you can just run it through Steam if you want.

only for games bought through the origin store, which is ridiculously overpriced and you'd have to be stupid to actually even consider buying a game for £49.99

i haven't got any gripes with origin - like steam, i don't have it in my startup list and just launch it when i need to play a game through it.

This is a really small non gameplay effecting detail but I wish sims would still spoon each other when they are sleeping. It just warms my little heart to see my virtual friends be in love :smile:

Yeah it bothered me as well that was missing from thr game. It really kinda contributes to the theme that all sims are horrible people who expect horrible things, not caring about death and when your partner is fucking the neighbor in your bed.

I haven't played enough to know exactly, but do dead Sims leave a mark in the world somehow? I had one guy out of my household die through autoage and he just literally disappeared. No urn, no gravestone and there's no family tree either.
If not, then that's pretty lame, because I would always create portraits of Sims I considered important and then made a memorial place for them. I don't want Sims to be dispensable.
