Going by purely base game for each iteration, this is the best yet in my eyes. Maybe hold off and see what the first couple expansions bring to the table. Overall, for the right price, it's pretty solid.

Looks like is on the upper floor of a building which was my favourite thing about pools when sims 3 came out
Finally got around to playing this and 8 hours passed, wow. Haven't enjoyed Sims since Sims 2, so it must be doing something right. Really enjoying building houses, but I do feel like the wallpapers and a few styles are a little limited..

A piano tune popped into my head out of nowhere, and it was bugging the hell out of me. Then I remembered the Sims 1 soundtrack from playing it years and years ago. It blows all of the other Sims games out of the water holy shit.

I've played Sims 4 for a bit but I've been getting bored of it pretty fast. I've found that sending my Sim out to do stuff/trying to build relationships makes it a little less boring, but there's so little content right now that there just feels like there isn't really anything to do.
