Load times on a SSD for Sims 4 are nothin' so it's not a big deal. But if you don't have one, it may get annoying

Meet [I]Gerrick Hrba[/I], the rising star of the Oasis Springs Police Department. Gerrick is a man with a fiery heart, for which not even the daily shot of police work adrenaline is enough. Who else could have possibly married Daenerys Targaryen, if not him? Gerrick and the Khaleesi have grown very close to each other. Well, maybe even [I]too[/I] close, because he got her pregnant.
Fast-forward - the baby is suddenly fighting its way out in the middle of the night. The couple hops into a black car and goes fast and furious towards the hospital. The building is lifeless but for the one room, where all the baby magic happens. Dany bursts through the double doors and the dragon blood freezes in her veins. Boom! The final gunshot was an exclamation mark to everything that had led to this point. The doctor delivering the baby is actually [I]Max Payne[/I].
Phew! The baby is safe and sound, tears of joy are being shed and somewhere behind the double doors, Ryan Gosling is just ending his nursing shift and changes into his Rebel Pilot uniform, laughing hysterically.

Well, I'd been doing a legacy when I notice my Sim was gone for a few hours. I check up and they have a moodlet. With a binky.

This was bad because, well, I'd been keeping the guy alive for a long time. He was still alive and young while his great granddaughter was just becoming a child.

overall, i really like this EP. Jobs are fun, aliens are fun, p.nice all around.

Full CAS privileges with the disguise at a moment's notice which is super nice.

So I have an interesting bug / feature.
When my characters mood changes my mouse lights change colour to whatever mood it's in, so if he's fine, it changes to white and when he's happy it turns green.
Is this supposed to happen? It's certainly not an option I can find.

Oh good, I had worried that it was only that one neighborhood. Shame it can't be the same lot as you live in, hope that gets patched one day, especially given that you'd have to load into a new lot each time.

You could theoretically bulldoze your lot and have a shop on the ground floor, with your house on the upper floors/basement. Not sure if you can lock doors in 4 but if you can't, just put a plant or something in front of the door/stairs.
is it just me, or is there a lot of delays in the workplaces with the expansion? Cops and doctors will frequently just stand there nodding their head between each action, up to 30 sim minutes. It really adds up and wastes the day.
Its to simulate what people do in real life to avoid doing work at their workplaces.

What's the cheapest place to get Get To Work?

There's a slight lack of content at this stage to go through, but there's definitely a few hours to be played.
It's a solid base game, just needs more content, and thankfully the first expansion is pretty good.

In terms of the base game, it's good. I wouldn't personally get it for $60 but for $40-$45 if you can find it, go for it. The way they've been handling expansion packs and replacing stuff packs for something worthwhile has been nice too.
Get to Work brought me back onto the game. Reminds me of the fantastic times I had with Open Business.

I don't know what to really say honestly, for $10 it's not looking too bad.
But I'm not a party starter.. Though I can see myself using the Buy objects a lot..
I'm in, ten bucks is a lot more reasonable and it looks like we get around the same quantity of items as before. Let the party begin!
