The Sims 4 Cool Kitchen [SP]Apparel[/SP] Stuff Pack is out, and EA has as of now claimed another victim to throw into the slaughter! :ohno:

What are the main Sims 3 DLCs I should get to get the full experience out of the game?

Ask yourself "what do I really expect from my sims game" . Do you want to go for a more Realistic more Grounded to reality type of gameplay. Someone who is looking for adventure, or are you just going for a more fictional alternate reality full of magic and annoying zombies and time travel.
Though if you want a list of expansions for The Sims 3 here's a list for ya'.

IMO I love me some sillyness every now again and I do love the little injections of it in my game. Though I essentially like to have this sort of balance between the two where its not too realistic, but not too silly to the point where it looses all sense of reality that it will seem like a circus more so than a life sim. Though then again that's my opinion.. :smug:
Pets is game breakingly awful though. You might THINK you want pets but not for the performance cost of that ex pack.
Island Paradise's added world is a fucking nightmare too, but the features from it are solid.
seasons and generations are a must imo.
Why is Sims 2 no longer in my Origin library, did they remove it?

It's there for me.
It's still in my stash too.
wtf
[editline]12th August 2015[/editline]
is there anyway to add it to your library still?
Maybe it's hidden. My Games > Show > Hidden Games?
I was on the wrong account :v:

I've got a copy of The Sims Complete Collection coming my way, any classic simmers got any tips or something of interest to mess around with?

depends on a game, if Sims 1, go do a mass murder in the old fashion way. If Sims 2, do the same and get Simcity 4 to make towns for sims
I've been having a lot of fun playing out a long save in The Sims 3 recently. I started off with a single adult sim who got married and had kids and then everything went hideously out of control from there.

The Sims Complete Collection is basicly like The Sims 2's Ultimate Collection, except this is for The Sims 1.

I've already killed a good portion of the dorm back at The Sims 2, but i'm kinda wondering about the "Living aspects" of things to do in the original Sims game, with all the expansions. Even though I have a neat idea of what i wanna do, it would be nice to know some extras I can throw at my sims to play around with.
What's the biggest difference between Open for Business and the business option of Get to Work. LGR said Get to Work wasn't on par but from what I've seen Get to Work has all the same features has Open for Business and more.

You cannot run venues, or restaurants if I recall correctly. Though then again sims in TS2's OFB restaurants seem to think your high end restaurant is like a trip to McDonalds anyways, so take that for what you will. So if you were thinking about running a local sauna you should (as unfortunate as it is) drop it.. :disappoint:
The Sims is here and well Windows 10 just killed the game's DRM, now the game doesn't wanna launch..
Damn you Microsoft.. :why:
- Edit -
Whoops forgot to throw in an extra damnation for EA; WHY?!! :tableflip:
I have a problem when it comes to Sims 3, or just Sims in general.
It can occur at any moment when i'm playing it. Nothing interesting is happening, i get a good idea, I for some reason go absolutely crazy, and build the most stupidest shit i can ever come up with, and during this shitsprint, i absolutely fail to make it look good, and then i quit all together.

I think its funny how shortly after the Get Together announcement everyone on forums were rioting about it then EA released that poll which had the possibility of toddlers on it, then everyone calmed down. Damage control 101.
To be fair, that could have been avoided if they just explained what the hell the pack had in the first place.
Just read up on the new details. So clubs are going to be like the social circles in Sims 3? I wonder if whenever someone mods in weapons someone'll make a Compton map, and then someone else will create a club called "crips" and another called "bloods".
So what I can gather is that this will be sorta like the Nightlife expansion for Sims 4... That kinda sucks. When it comes to clubbing in these games I want a big ugly city again, not some hipster European town.
Maybe they'll clump the university and the city expansion into one.
