Still got no luck getting Sims 2 to work. For some reason it's not making the EA Games/Sims 2 folder in my My Docs, so I have no neighborhoods to start the game with (and probably no content in general). Some other people have had an issue like this, but they've had the My Doc files so idk what is going on. [B]E:[/B] Now I'm getting an error when I start the game that says my HDD is almost full for some reason. I still have more than 150GB free.

Glad TS2 is free. I have a feeling TS4 is gonna suck, so TS2/TS3 are all I'm gonna be playing.

Alright, so I own The Sims 3 and a bunch of expansions, and young me being stupid, accidentally put my base game on one EA account (which I now can't remember the login info for) and my expansions on another. I've also lent my expansion disks to a friend. So if I install the base game from the disc and then download and install the expansions from Origin, would that work?

Just reinstalled all of the Sims 2 stuff. I wasn't prepared for the nostalgia, god damn. I think if I ever reinstalled the original I'd explode.

Delete the ™ out... and the problem is solved... For 64- Bit : Open Wow6432Node then.. Find EA GAMES folder and open the sims 2... change the Display Name... Delete the ™ out... and the problem is solved... Before it's should look like this : The Sims 2™ Ultimate Collection After : The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection i found that fix on google, worked for me!

I've given up on trying to fix this, I applied all of the fixes that the user in this thread recommended to my Pets folders and I still have shitty graphics and resolution :( frustrated. I miss this game so much.

I feel like Hitler for only starting on The Sims 3. My sister played 2 all the time but I never gave it a go, now with it being free I'm about to start. Do people prefer 2 to 3? Wondering because I've sinked so much into the third game, I was going to play a ton this summer but my PC is playing up and I can barely run games any more for some reason.

One of the things I noticed with the Sims 2 over 3 is how much more alive the sims themselves feel. Constantly interacting and moving about. I hope 4 is like that.

Okay I want to play this because it's all I used to do so I downloaded the Ultimate Edition and it will not work. First it refused to load because Paul.dll was messing it up so I grabbed a new dll.
