Buying back my ps2 so i can play Sims 2 splitscreen again, it was amazing.
Also for Timesplitters: future perfect, my copy of the game broke.
Can anyone link me to which Nrass site mods fix the freezing in Sims 3?

Thank you, will these work fine with default settings? Or Will I have to tinker with them a little?
Perfect. Thank you very much. :v:
Is the Nrass Relativity mod worth it? I been debating on giving it a blast. Just wondering before I get home and download it all.

I like it. Even turning the time down to half of what it is gives the game a better feel because you get more stuff done. Time doesn't fly by like it's the God damn Roadrunner anymore but the days are not horrendously long.

I use it. It's a must. You have time to do some things, without just fulfilling needs constantly, nonstop, without room to do jack shit that you want to do
Well that pretty much makes it unanimous. I'll download as soon as I get back to home.
So, I send my Sim to work because no carpool arrived for him. Strange, but alright.
I see him in the house, watching TV right after I do that. The fuck? Send him back.
The command appears in his queue, and disappears. Then he disappears and reappears, moodlets reset, and needs reset. Uhhh
Repeat. Repeat.
I'm then unemployed. Not fired, just magically unemployed.
Fuck.
This is why sims shouldn't experiment with Drugs and Teleports/Time Machines.
Tommy Vercetti Jr. is growing up fine, stealing cars and killing people just like his father did back in Vice City. He plans on moving there too, hopefully when the World gets out of Beta and adds random sims, I'll move him there.

The Sims 3 Franchise is on sale on Steam, part of this week's Midweek Madness.
Started playing again, this time with expansions, and I have to say the constant memory notifications are the most annoying fucking thing.
Sim McSim took a bath. All the bubbles and soap leave a lasting impression that they'll cherish for a lifetime!
Why not save this and a load of other mundane shit in the scrapbook you'll never use?
Fuck you I keep missing bill repayment notifications and the repomen keep stealing my bathtub
[editline]22nd January 2013[/editline]
Also, I have a bug where zombies constantly spawn. Even during the day/new moon. They were annoying to begin with, but now my house is a constant mess of buggy pathfinding failures and sims getting freaked out. They even overran my Sim's Wedding and turned half of my guests.
Would I be able to run the Sims 3 with

Except the stuff packs because they suck.

It's still $150 for the game and all its expansions (at 66% off!), and that doesn't even include all the stuff in the online store. At full price, the base game and its expansions cost over $700. How little respect for your customers can you possibly have? That's just fuckin' absurd.
Same house I bought. It is the best default, and even comes with a drive way which I didn't know.
Just finished making some upgrades to the house.

Hey guys, my main Sims 3 family just died out. Kid survived which has like 5 families worth of ancestors, 100 hours of gameplay. How can I adopt him from the social services and continue?

How'd they die out?
I just installed this game.

Sims 2 with all is expansions weren't any cheaper. AND it has an online store too. We just don't remember that because we were 12.
More importantly, some guy on reddit made a Sims 3 plantation. http://imgur.com/a/0U5N8#0
It's both horrible and hilarious.
Kind of reminds me of Django Unchained

Most players only buy a few expansions. Also if people felt like they were being ripped off they wouldn't continue to buy them.

Problem is that it happened because when the Sims came out everyone complained about how there wasn't enough content so they kept making expansion packs over and over again.
It continued through to the Sims 3 and won't stop any time soon, just because every time the new Sims game comes out everyone complains about how little content it has and then EA adds more content through Expansion packs.

I hope they don't get alot of money trough selling on the Sims 3 Store. Its bullshit how they use development time on the base game and then take a huge chunk out of the game to sell separatly. I wouldn't care if it was new skins to furniture and such, but some type of furniture is only available trough the store.
I think the way it's meant to be played is that you cherrypick the expansion packs you want/need/find worth the price. I sure as hell don't feel any incentive to buy Showtime/Pets/Supernatural

It's completely intentional content starvation, though. They release the game without all of the content they know should be included from the start (such as missing construction tools, and other necessary, core gameplay content), and then they try to charge you out the ass to get it back. It's a wonder people still fall for it!
I mean, they've announced three full expansion packs and several stuff packs for 2013. Three. That's a four month turnaround for each "major" expansion pack. Each of this retails at forty bucks, and the price never drops. The stuff packs each retail at twenty to thirty dollars, and adds, as the name implies, "stuff." Then you also have the online exclusive stuff packs, which all retail from anywhere from a couple of dollars all the way up to thirty or more.
At what point is enough? The expansions are neat and all, but they're not worth $700 dollars ($900+ by the end of this year).
I don't buy Sims stuff, so it doesn't really have much of an effect on me either way, but I would assume that EA's customers would, at some point, simply take offense to this blatant extortion.

Hell, I never bought a Sims 2 expansion pack. Once I recognized that expansion packs were all the same content that was already added by the original Sims expansion packs, I realized that they were trying to charge me again for the same thing I'd already paid for, and said, "nope, nuh-uh, no thank you."
And that was the last Sims expansion pack I ever paid for, the end.

So why are you here? This is like going to railworks and telling them they should be ashamed of themselves for having a hobby, or going to any major mmo with a subscription fee and telling them to give it up. Different people have different interests, you have to accept that, and the fact that you aren't going to change their interests by degrading them or their hobbies on the internet.
At the end of the day, you have to look at yourself and see if you are making people better off or worse off, and I don't feel that telling people what to do is very effective at bettering peoples lives.

Figured out why. It happened again.
ErrorTrap keeps popping up errors everytime I try to go to work.
Great.
