I tried doing it but got discouraged because despite the children being named "Asexual Goblin", the government is still sending school busses to have the children teleport out to go to school. I can cancel it but then I gotta throw them back in their pit, when they sleep and wake up, they swap rooms randomly, and sometimes they cant reach the minifridge thats right god damn there.
i guess it doesn't work as well in the sims 2, they don't teleport out in the sims 3
I'm pretty sure you can disable the schoolbus and make it so the kids/teens don't have to go to school by deleting the school itself.
Their grades'll drop but hey who cares slavery!

Some new trailer that doesn't tell much but oh well.
That old woman fell on the treadmill. Guy didn't give a fuck
Proper sims game
I love the artstyle of TS4. It looks like a mix of the best of The Sims 2 and 3's artstyles.
It's funny that all of us are Kim Jong Un's on the inside
Unlike Kim Jong Un we have Sims to vent out.
Thank god for Sims
mod dump why not

you have to get this mod without question because if you don't you're liable to get serious corruption leading to you needing a reinstall of the game. Think of it like nrass.

also just a minor one but hey i liked this feature of pre-FT sims 2
Not a mod per say, but this is a really nice 'hood and if you don't use it, there's still some really accurate buildings you can just throw into the bin for usage in other neighborhoods.
haha fuck
i have 3 of the ugliest children ever all named "gremlin" downstairs painting for their father, an ugly yellow man who looks like the dude from sin city
i'll post some updates

oh yeah, how do i stop the CPS from taking my children in sims 3?
in sims 2 thats what killed my entire operation
get rid of the stairs in the basement CPS can't take 'em away if there's no stairs
get rid of the stairs in the basement CPS can't take 'em away if there's no stairs
Don't they just magically teleport down there or something?
testingcheatsenabled and delete that bitch
you know one thing from sims 2 that I definitely don't miss in sims 3 is the fucking minimum friend requirement for job advancing. After a while you just have to have a lot of 'empty friends' just to advance that you call for a few minutes every week.
My sim just lost a friend literally 10 minutes before he returned for work, and he would've got a promotion otherwise. Thanks.
On the other hand, one thing that I just can't stand not being in 3 but being in 2 is pretty much everything from Open for Business. That's literally my favorite expansion for pretty much any Sims game, and it's part of the reason I can't really get into Sims 3. Player-owned businesses were the shit
On the store page
"Smarter Sims with new emotions and unique personalities provide you greater choices to create rich, entertaining and weird stories."

Weird Stories
I see they are going for that lock-the-whole-neighborhood-in-the-basement and secret mutant child sweatshop player demographic
toddlers can sleep on pet beds in sims 2 that's whack as fuck
they can sleep in them without having to drag a parent to them so they can tuck them in
cruel but useful

Yeah it's cute now but I envision many long years of 18 hour days painting so you can have a damn pool
Yeah it's cute now but I envision many long years of 18 hour days painting so you can have a damn pool
In Sims 4, not even 24/7 of painting will be enough.
how do you send a sim to their job
I had a sim in Sims 2 heading off to his job only to get to car and stand right beside it like an asshole, watch it drive away and then go back inside and watch TV. Still, I guess it's better than in Sims 3 where your career oufit can become corrupted which prevents your sims from going to work. Really fucking annoying when that happens.
Click the car (either the one that comes in front of your house, or your own). Or if you click your sim, there should be a contextual menu that lets you send him there. They mostly do it automatically, unless they're in a really bad mood.
But sometimes they won't do it automatically. Like the fucktards from Hogwarts School of Magic, who sort of collectively decided to forget to go to their final fucking exam, thus failing the semester. Yes, that happened to me a few hours ago.
Do most people use the money cheat or play legitimately
Do most people use the money cheat or play legitimately
i usually tell myself to play legit but I always end up cheating at one point or another.
I used to use it a lot, but I've gotten better at the stupid micromanaging that the game needs for good job performance (But every so often a sim does miss work due to the combined shower + breakfast taking 6 hours because they got stuck in a door)
In Sims 4, not even 24/7 of painting will be enough.
Yeah well judging from some of the posts and screenshots here, there will be pools. Just above ground ones, and in blood
Also, learn to give financial advice. You can work from home. About an hour will get you more money than a full day's work as a new guy. 8 Hours would get you about 2 grand. Then again I do play with my time slowed by 50%
update on my child labor family

Here's Gerald Jabrohny, the father of the three mutant children living in the basement. He's a loser, and is very bad around other people. He also hates children.

All of my are insane, artistic, and loner children are named "gremlin," but they all have their own special traits. This one is the purple clown elf, who has made the most money out of all of the gremlins, so I've rewarded him with a (cheap as fuck) bed, instead of the typical couch the others sleep on.

I like to call this one "alien face," because by the time I made him I was way too bored to spend time making his face all fucked up like purple clown elf, so I opted to put him in an alien mask instead. Unfortunately he only wears it with his regular outfit, which the gremlins barely wear because they're just too smelly and exhausted to change into anything other than their underwear.

And here's the last gremlin, who I've nicknamed "el tigre" because he has tiger facepaint. He's the worst out of the gremlins because he spends his time complaining about not having a trash can and "waaahhh im trapped in a room with no walls, windows, that lacks adequate lighting!! waaah" haha, fucking loser. In this picture you can see the cheap and uncomfortable couch that I've given all of the other gremlins except for purple elf clown. Since the couches are so horribly uncomfortable, the gremlins are in a constant state of fatigue, which is an issue because they're not able to churn out bomb ass paintings as fast as I'd like.

And here's all the gremlins being upset because they can't get to school.

Oh, bonus pic. Not too long ago Gerald fucked up and managed to blow up the kitchen making macaroni, so the firefighters ended up showing up. He started chatting one up and asked him to stay for a bit... but stood motionless thinking about phones and his home for 8 and a half hours while Gerald was at work. When I took this picture, he was thinking about how much he dislikes art.... I think he's onto Gerald.
ps: Does anyone know how to get rid of the CPS in sims 3? They're probably going to come knocking on my door any day now and I wanna be prepared.
[editline]30th July 2014[/editline]
also the lighting is bad because the gremlins haven't made enough money for me to be able to afford lights yet.
Do most people use the money cheat or play legitimately
Always play legit myself. I get why some people use 'em but for me I just like seeing a family build itself up.
Main legacy family went from dirt poor living on the desert ground to millionaries in the bank and several business as well as an estate and several vacation homes.

so does not owning a stove until you have high as hell cooking because you start off with 1,500-ish and can barely afford an awning to cover your bed.
okay you know what? i'm putting my slave house on hiatus and am going to do a legit family with no cheats.
the only cheats i'll use are the ones that let me use NPC clothes

one sim
biggest lot
final destination
no seriously try that so called "extreme" start. The limitations will be hard at first but help you in the long run. Plus it lends itself to great story telling.
