should only appear at night, as a burglar, except instead of stealing furniture he swipes a random sim who is then never seen again
what the fuck
Beetlejuice live action movie. Pretty awesome movie if you haven't seen it.
Ok, so I get a little sick and go to bed. When I wake up, the Grim Reaper shows up and kills me.
Then he proceeds to spend 2 hours watching TV in my house.
this just in: big boss left work mid-shift, stood outside to be struck by lightning, and then went back to work
[editline]31st July 2014[/editline]
oh yeah i found out the mystery behind the sleeping ghost
my sim has a special ability where he can bore people to death. some girl invited him on a date (at the fucking cemetery, what the fuck), and bb just made her pass out mid conversation, then went on his own to mourn at some random schmuck's grave
He just wanted to smear ashes on his face, cut the man some slack
My new legit sim is Big Boss. He's brave, has no sense of humor, loves animals, is a loner, and something else I forgot. His aspiration is to be an international super spy.
I'm playing as Big Boss too on the Sims 2, but i'm a bit lazy and every character i do always becomes an artist. Hey, at least he's happy:

It's like a human squidward.
I feel like:
1) I am the only person I know that actually plays The Sims as a legit life simulator more often than not.
And
2) I am the only person that doesn't have trouble with Sims dying all the time. I've only ever had my Sims die of age. Well... Die unintentionally that is.
I almost never have Sims die of stupid crap. I don't know how people are killing their sims 20 min into starting a new world.
I also play pretty legit.
I don't think I've ever had a Sim unintentionally die of anything except age and one case of my family's father electrocuting himself to death within 20 minutes of purchasing a new TV.
I alien mind controlled a random sim that was walking by my house into fixing my dishwasher and he ended up frying himself to death. Does that count?

I play legit. I've had a few accidental deaths in 3 though, one was a character I had spent like 10 hours playing who I screwed up and let use something electrical after getting shocked without showering. I'm still a little upset about that one, she had some really cool stuff in her house.
I once had a sim who got glitched and refused to get out of the pool, he just swam and swam until he drowned.
I once bugged up a game in the Sims 3 on Xbox 360 where I intentionally locked a child in the attic and removed the door. Eventually she starved, but the Grim Reaper couldn't get to the room because there wasn't a door to it (it was a tiny attic crawlspace), so the kid just stood there screaming about being hungry for eternity while the Grim Reaper stood on the other side complaining about being blocked to his kill. I couldn't go into build mode or save the game because someone was dying, but I couldn't have them actually die because I couldn't go into build mode.
Eventually I had to restart the game and see 8 hours wasted because I didn't save in time. :suicide:
I reinstalled 3 and the two expansions I have on disc, because my internet is crap, ambitions and late night.
I'm currently a jobless guitar player who lives on an empty 9x9 lot (the smallest possible custom size.)
he has a series of girlfriends he mooches off of in order to not die.
What's the most profitable skill? Sims 3 that is

Thats a very empty living room.

I have a physical copy but I don't know if I should do that Ultimate Edition thing with Origin.
Is it worth the hassle?

I was playing on a 2x2 lot and planning on just make the structure and then expand upwards when necessary/money allows. I ran out of money mid-construction, so I had to go with what you see there. As you can see, I never got to realize my dreams.

The free promotion code ran out yesterday (or 2 days ago, can't remember), so if you haven't got it yet, it's too late. Origin support is terrible, so if you wanna get it through that, it depends on your patience/temper. Ultimate Edition is good, though. Don't even have to launch it through Origin.
Well fuck. And I already knew Origin support was terrible :v:. Thanks.

PM me
Sims 2 won't start.
It tells me to "turn off" all the CD/DVD emulation programs. What.
Just pre-ordered TS4 woop
I'm sure this has been asked to death and I apologize in advance but are there any guides on getting rid of the black box shadows in TS2?

you can disable shadows but I don't know if you want to do that
Which is the best town to play in? Sims 3 again. I can't decide. I like Bridgeport, it feels bigger because of the skyscrapers and stuff.

So do you guys use the default 'hoods or make your own?
Love making my own. The one I've been working on for a year or two now is a real object of pride for me. Like to imagine it's a chain of islands.

Main area is Charvatia. It's supposed to be the high class area, given the fact my big ass legacy mansion is there. Current residents are my legacy family (naturally), the Ramaswami's, and the Coble family, who only run businesses, no real jobs.

Interhogan is a shopping district, supposed to be middle class. Seriously empty though, I need more buildings and a lot more sims for it. So far it only has the two orphan family and a Coble business.

Yatesport is the Downtown. Lower class area, and it's where the Cobles started in a trailer park. No current residents, but a ton of community lots and a few legacy and Coble businesses.

look goddamnit i needed a college that was seperate from the others for the apocalypse challenge. i'll get around to building it up when i dont have any restrictions holding me back.

Speaking of which, Jolly Pines is the other Downtown. Though, it's cut-off from all the other islands because of the apocalypse going on in it. Only residents are the apocalypse family and...the apocalypse family. Weird incident happened where several people came back to life and I had to cart them off to another building.
other than that, i use the pre-packaged stuff and just rename them because i am not about to build up a ton of colleges or vacation lots.
ps send me sims and lots and i'll use them i need more shit to put into the islands
It's so empty man

Except the last one I guess
All my Sims 2 and 3 towns end up crowded as fuck, because I just love making families that I never play. I just make them to make the place feel more populated.
