I never actually got into farming in The Sims 3, has anyone here ever done it? If so, is it worth doing?
It's boring as hell, but some of the rewards you get are pretty good at the end.

I just started playing. My dude is called Count Evil and he is an evil mastermind who lives in a hut in the swamps, painting and inventing all day. I'm planning to build a giant underground area beneath the hut for more evil purposes.

Nope. I'm playing a game and it landed in a community park but that's probably because I'm on a house-boat.
Just got myself some TS3 expansions. Time to make a sweatshop! Maybe I can get one of the kids an imaginary friend, and turn them real, and then make them work too.

It's Gary Coleman.
I like the Simcity interface they adopted, it was one of the few decent things about that game. Also, I'm glad the controls aren't all mushed into the bottom left and are spread out now.

And the UI looks pretty nice, though I think I'll have a hard time getting used to it at first.

My sister pre-ordered Sims 4 so I'm just going to hijack it from her. :v:
arrgh their holding so much back, I've heard about the build mode/multitasking/emotions a thousand time so far, wheres the non-rabbithole workplaces? Wheres the meat?
I was a bit irked in that video when he tried to talk to the woman but his sim stomped his foot because of some pathing bug. Damn, I wish they would have fixed that, but now I'm not too optimistic.

I like that Han solo esque outfit, hopefully it's not unlockable by either doing something specific or cheats. and the game looks p. neat too

I guess this would be the first time they explained why it went from an open world to neighborhoods, but that park looks absolutely amazing when you compare it to the tiny ones in the Sims 3.

It's nice to see the world has a more organic look to it. The area around the house looks a lot more believable and detailed than ANYWHERE in a Sims 3 world.
They actually look like people live there, rather than just a random sim coming out of a building or what ever they did in TS3, it looks lively, people strolling around doing their own thing
Man if they announce that rabbit holes are out, I'll be straight hyped for this.
Though I doubt that'll be the case, really...
rabbit holes are gone, sims just route off the lot i believe
