The Sims Megathread - Come on in! The house is on fire but it's ok. Have you seen my basement? - Games

I find myself actually hoping we get another 'Future' expansion. I know a lot of people think ITF was just a flavor expansion, but it was honestly the one I enjoyed the most despite how broken it could be. Plus if they based it off of Cities of Tomorrow a little bit it'd be kickin rad.

I love how one of them says "EA IS RUINING MY CHILDHOOD" when this is exactly how it was in TS1

In The Sims 2, I made two dudes: Larry and Greg. Larry was a beer-gutted redneck with a mullet. Greg was a big fat guy with a fedora. I put Greg to work making robots (with the ultimate goal of making Servos to clean up after these two slobby fuckers) and had Larry manage their home business, selling these (mostly broken) robots. Eventually their home business was so successful that it almost wasn't unprofitable, and they hired an employee. All seemed well for Larry and Greg. Their beloved pet, an ugly, lopsided dog named Bumpus, died, but other than that everything was roses. Until the computer broke. The computer and the robot workbench were in the same room. Greg was at the workbench making more robots. I sent Larry to repair the computer. [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/O4xY04x.png[/IMG] The computer electrocuted Larry, but he managed to survive that bit. But then the desk caught fire. [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/hy9uMwF.png[/IMG] Their single employee- who had been downstairs selling robots- ran up. Oh, thank goodness, Larry and Greg are gonna be fine- "I'm fed up with these conditions! I quit!" Neither Sim was able to escape and the flames eventually engulfed them both. So I made a new family and moved them into the same lot. [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/V0oROIg.png[/IMG] Left to right: Crappy Mike, Big Frank, and their mother, Trunklift. I had them clean up the various messes Larry and Greg had left behind and moved their graves up to the roof so their ghosts wouldn't bother the new family (and so they could eventually be resurrected with magic or something). Then I noticed Big Frank- who was sleeping in the room where Larry and Greg died- was dead. Then Trunklift. I had Crappy Mike go investigate.... and then he, too, died, apparently of fright. From the dog's ghost. This saga must continue. But... I'm hesitant to spend 20-30 minutes making weird-ass Sims just to have them die immediately. Any thoughts on how to contain a ghost problem?

Toddlers were boring and annoying imo. I stuck it on the lowest amount of time I could get away with while still being able to max out all the shit to make the "perfect child" then I'd buy a cake and be done with it.

My Sims 3 somehow won't get pass the neighbourhood loading screen. Tried all the playable Neighbourhoods but no avail. Anyone know how to fix this problem? I've tried clearing the cache in the My Document/Sims 3 directory but didn't fix the problem at all. I was playing perfectly fine last night. I decided to delete the current save this morning to create a new Sim to goof off when I found out I am stuck in loading screen (90% done loading then won't get any further). I got no mods installed.

Ugh, I'm having random soft freezes with my current sim. I don't know if it's the town I'm using or save bloating or something fucking up hat Overwatch and ErrorTrap can't fix and they just freak out or what, but if I need to start a new world, I'm cheating the fuck out of it to get back to where I am now.

Welp, I threw a birthday party for my sim and invited over 70 sims into the household, which lead to total chaos. people got stuck since my house plot is to small and soon enough vampire people started dying one by one since they did not get any plasma food in their belly. About 25 vampires have now died at my party including my sim who i threw the birthday party for. it's a good thing I invited the reaper to my birthday party. wow, and there's piss fucking everywhere :v::v::v:
