Theres ways to play Sims 3 and 2 multiplayer. But this requires us to all use the same save and go in turns, so lets say I go for like 1 hour then I send that saved file to someone else via dropbox which continues on another family which we had set up.
A Sims 3 succession game sounds fun.

Problem is this: How would it work with mods/expansions?

If you use Origin you can select what ex/stuff packs you have installed so for anyone who plays they can only use those that we've decided at the start.
But really, you should have Ambitions, Seasons, Generations and Late Night because those are all the good ones.
And mods...probably just use stuff like Nraas Overwatch, ErrorTrap, and StoryProgression.
I have ErrorTrap and Overwatch and I have it on lowest settings but I still keep freezing all the time whenever I play The Sims 3.
What do I do?

do you have anywhere else to sit?
yes and it's actually out of the way to go to the bathroom.
i think the chair is bugged for some reason, sometimes she eschews the chair in favor of going onto the back porch to eat at the chess table.

Why is that expansion pack on so many peoples favorite in Sims 2?
Nightlife was much better IMO.

Because building and having actual stores with hired employees was neat. I remember having a very successful car lot/electronic stores
Now I just build basements with overclocked computers and lock sims in it all night while they hack, and steal cars. The economy has been brutal for me
How do you steal cars?
Fucking hell, I tried updating my game, and I still used the EADM. Well the EADM crashed when trying to update, the game wouldn't launch, and EADM kept insisting I update to Origin. So I did. In the process, it seems like half of my Sims games uninstalled themselves.

Uh, it wasn't really that hard to me.
Great, installing Origin mysteriously deleted half my Sims games, causing me to have to re-install the whole thing. It also mysteriously deleted Battlefield 2142, despite Origin not even realizing I have that game. This is why I held off getting Origin for so long.
So I had this save game in Starlight Shores, that was starting to run really poorly. So I finally decided to install Overwatch.

Needless to say its running good now.
My plants froze in spring so I moved to the surface of the sun...

They are still frozen.
Why is your ground flat green?
Should I buy seasons? I don't have any of the DLC and I really don't want to buy too many of them.

i decided to install overwatch to help unclog my game a bit. what are the most effective things to clean up?
So what mods are currently out there to take care of the messy shit?
Overwhatch, and something NRAAS?

ErrorTrap.
Why is your ground flat green?
Because I once turned down my settings, they never turned back up.
I heard the Steam version has some problems with mods. Is it true? This overwatch sounds like a thing I'd have a use for.
It does it automatically.
You should eventually see a pop up that says something like "1,000,000 vehicles removed".
apparently every day 20 sims end up getting cleaned because they are "stationary" or w/e.
[editline]24th January 2013[/editline]
also an average of 65 vehicles...
I haven't played the Sims for a couple of years, is AwesomeMod still the "go to" core mod? or have other mods replaced it?
I haven't played the Sims for a couple of years, is AwesomeMod still the "go to" core mod? or have other mods replaced it?
I hear of this mod a lot but never really find any kind of features list. Does anyone have one?
[editline]24th January 2013[/editline]
Nevermind think I found one.
I can't get Error Trap to work properly. I get error messages when starting the game with it in the packages folder. I should be current on patches. Do I need something other than the default version to have it load correctly?
