Bleugh[/QUOTE] Have you actually watched any of the videos for the game, I think it's much better this way, less lag with neighbourhoods and the smaller plots has made the towns seem more lively and actually townly

Wait, is this game seriously only going to be a 32bit executable?

They've cut down on world size (I'm not talking about 'open world'), and removed a lot of customizing and land plot variation/building tools to save on RAM, which they've crippled down with the 32-bit. 32 bit is ANCIENT, and has no business being in any more AAA titles. [B]They also removed deaths. Drowning, burning, starving, satellites, etc.[/B]

The idea is to explain that content is removed from the game as the series goes on, more than it is being added.

I think i read somewhere that theres basically no story progression in the neighborhood now either, just that sims age. Doesnt that mean that everyone will just at some point be elders, then die & be replaced with completely new sims? Laame.

I really do think this is going to be a more casual sims game. The best thing for them to do is keep a TS3 complete around for someone to buy at a discounted price if they were a really hardcore sims fans, and have 4 be the main focus for more casual fans.

The Sims 4 seems like a bit of a downgrade from The Sims 3, the fact that there's only local neighbourhoods may improve on the performance, but The Sims 3 was fucking terribly optimized, they could've easily done the same thing, only worked on Optimization so it didn't run like ass.

How do I get the create a Sim?

Wait, what I'm wondering is if there's gonna be Townies again. Without Story Progression, it'll be a bit odd for a Legacy family to just tear all the families in town apart in search for marriage material.

I will miss story progression because I played for generations. I'd often have a family with a few children. When they become adults one would move out of the family home and I'd let story progression take care of them, get them to fall in love and start a family. I don't so much like this idea of that not being possible anymore. I will get Sims 4. I just want to give it some time to see what DLC, Expansions and Mods bring to the table.

I always liked her as a character and usually end up remaking her in the games for shits and giggles. I'm actually really happy with how she turned out aside from there being no pointy ears option. I mean I have no fashion sense, and it's doubled for chicks, but hey. Wow that list of missing features is disgusting. I'm surprised that this information isn't just [I]everywhere[/I]
