Wow that list of missing features is disgusting. I'm surprised that this information isn't just everywhere
Because a lot of it is sourced from the Honeywell blog which is both wrong and bias. Honeywell is just another bitter MTS user. That site has gone to shit for quite a while. MTS is literately a circlejerk of computer and game design illiterate morons these days.
Well, no story progression is a massive fuck up I can't overlook. Part of the fun in 3 was seeing how the game deals with my custom families. Like inviting them to a house party after not playing them for a while and be like: "Holy shit, they've got a kid!"
Eh, I'm in the minority because I only ever played one family usually, sometimes dabbling in others, and abhorred SP for locking me into them permanently out of fear something might change with them. I got used to it, but I'm not exactly sad to see it go.

I'm loving this new CAS. [t]http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/02ea/rzd16w03jan4h7mfg.jpg?size_id=8[/t] [t]http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/776c/8xbl53hzqaa1zgbfg.jpg?size_id=8[/t]
Why are people taking that fucking list as absolute truth? Especially when shit on it has already been proven false?
Until there's an actual announcement then I'm going to take that list with a bucketful of salt. Also more sims: [t]http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/e3d7/414osea4p356jjvfg.jpg?size_id=8[/t] [t]http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/b571/2do9y3w1gic9nv7fg.jpg?size_id=8[/t]
dammit i want cas D:
WTH even is this game? It's like Minecraft for girls. Like Minecraft lite. All EA does is recycle the same crap all the damn time. Wake up sheeple! EA is the NWO/illuminati/AntiChrist. SMH.
by the same token why do you guys assume a developer who's got a chequered history and a patently exploitative release/sales scheme isn't going to exclude a bucket list of features that should honestly be in the base game since several iterations ago

He's obviously trying to save us from ourselves.

Saying that, I'm still going to wait on reviews, specifically the LGR one. [editline]10th August 2014[/editline] On the other hand, I really, really don't want to spend more time playing The Sims 3.* *waiting for it to load and stop stuttering
I never have any funny stories in Sims 3 because I spend too much time micromanaging shit and laser focusing on one thing at a time. Also being a vampire is a pain in the ass because if you aren't paying attention you'll drop dead because you were 1 second too slow in getting a plasma juice. The second it reaches 0 you die. The AI can be so dumb in that regard. I've had more vampire sims disintegrate because they wasted time walking to the table to sit down instead of just drinking it while walking around. Pisses me off. You sir have done us all a great service!
Basically, out of what has been shown or otherwise confirmed I've heard a lot of things I like and a lot of things I dislike. There's no point in jumping at speculation or unconfirmed lists. I'm just going to hold off on the pre-order, and wait for the game to come out so I can hear firsthand all the positives and negatives as they factually are from people who have actually played the game. Im not going to deny the unsettling rumors and praise the game blindly. But by the same token I am not going to blow it off until it's out and we can see these things for ourselves.
So do we actually know how much stuff from the CAS demo isn't in the main game CAS?
So do we actually know how much stuff from the CAS demo isn't in the main game CAS?
In the main game CAS first and last names are picked with a drop-down menu, clothing is set to preset outfits instead of separate gear, and traits are defined with a slot machine type system.
Why are people taking that fucking list as absolute truth? Especially when shit on it has already been proven false?
What has been proven false from the list? I only saw the list yesterday and haven't been keeping up with everything about the game so i have no idea how much of it is actually true.

So what's the best neighborhood in the sims 3
So what's the best neighborhood in the sims 3
Lucky Palms is one of my favourites, it's a store one, though.
hidden springs is best
i like appaloosa plains but that's only because i have 3 towns and the other two are sunset valley and bridgeport (there are no lots in BP)
What the fuck, it's even less customization than 1 All my faith for this games is gone jesus christ
I can't believe somebody actually fell for that.
http://forums.thesims.com/ <-- this is apparently the new forums for the sims 4
It just sends me to an Origin log in page.
It just sends me to an Origin log in page.
Are you signed into origin's website? i was signed into the origin site and it went past that to the forums. Though it seems like we were not suppose to see the forums just yet...
Kinda bummed about the complete lack of create a style, but the current outfits are already good enough. Did a whole lot of characters to push the editor around a little bit. Probably my favorites so far are these two : [t]http://puu.sh/aO6H4/6e7052686e.jpg[/t][t]http://puu.sh/aO7C7/83e0aec968.jpg[/t] And because I can : [t]http://puu.sh/aO7eA/f6bf20c553.jpg[/t][t]http://puu.sh/aO7Hm/cd9f0a13af.jpg[/t]
