So this means when the base game comes out, I'll have to spend even MORE time in-game editing all my Sims to look more appropriate.
They don't say anything about clothes, hair or anything like that in that phrase. They are saying that the demo features a sampling of content from Sims 4 because it features only the Create a Sim portion of the game, without build mode, interactions and shit.

Damn you're probably right.
But I seriously hope you're wrong.
if what we get in CAS is all we get when it comes to hair and clothing, i could not see myself buying Sims 4

All things considered, it's still so much better than Sims 3 CAS so I think I'll still buy it.

I don't know, I was able to do some pretty decent work in CAS for 3, but I feel very limited with the 4's CAS specifically because of eyebrows and hair. If modding in both are easy, then it'd be no issue, but I can't remake my House cast well without more eyebrow and hair combinations :(

Are we talking base Sims 3 or with DLC?
Cause I felt a lot of the hair in Sims 3 just looked plain awful.
I'm probably just gonna wait for the reviews when Sims 4 is out, so much of it sounds shaky and yet some of it sounds promising so I'd rather not decide on whether it's getting my money yet
Pre-ordered The Sims 4, dis gon b gud.
Here's a 23 minute "Let's Play" footage

Even if - "a sampling" could mean there's only 95% of the basegame stuff in the demo.
Apart from the amount of hairstyles I'm quite satisfied with the amount of content. And if I wasn't I'd remember there will be tons of mods.
Jesus, she's a terrible LPer. She sounds so fuckin bored, and speaks in a constant monotone. Game looks awesome though.

Fucking looks amazing. I'm so pre-ordering soon.
For those who missed the stream last night, here is what they showed at Gamescom. It's all pretty setup. It did show that you can beg for a sims life from grim reaper again, though!

I bet the reason we're missing so many haircuts is because they're all in the adult stage of life.

If its anything like the previous game, young adult and adult share the same hairstyles.
I think I'm just trying to come up with excuses as to how we could get more haircuts, instead of facing the reality that there's fucking none.

I'd sign his petition
Glad you can adjust the thickness of your thighs now, I was tired of having thunder thighs when all I wanted was for my sim to look like every day was arm day.
Also glad that sims can now stop and start activities faster, playing Sims 2 and having my house nearly burn down because my sim took forever getting off the exercise machine or taking forever to get out of bed to fight a burglar sucks.

[del]Aw, does the cowplant always spit people out now? Lame.[/del]
Ah apparently there's always been a chance of getting spat out, nevermind.

I also like that it isn't done solely through sliders, that you can just grab various bits of the body and move the structure about.
