I watched Robbaz's Sims 3 videos and it seriously got me in the mood but I can't play because the game just decides to run so slowly in gameplay and no matter what I do I can't seem to make it run smoothly.
It annoys the hell out of me.
The amount of people that look realistic that have been made in the CAS is astonishing.
Let's optimistically hope the gameplay will match the tone.

After spending more time with the demo and watching some gameplay, I pre-ordered the game. I'm getting good vibes from this game, usually I don't from games.

If the character creation in any game doesn't allow me to make monstrocities from another world then in my opinion it's rubbish. Sims 4 is looking like it's gonna let my twisted imagination do what I want.

Well, I made a smurf, and SSK100 made shrek.
Has anyone had the issue of getting a black screen after the intro? When I right click I get a weird icon of a llama replacing my cursor. I tried googling but the only responses i've found were, "contact customer service."

I'm a filthy liar, I did more research and might have found the problem. I have origin and the demo installed on an external hard drive I move around between my poop laptop and my parents' pc. Origin and the game has to be installed in a recognizable drive like the C drive. Dude that found the solution had Origin and the demo installed on their E drive which was his problem. If anyone is having similar problems like me should check this link out.
Sucks there's no official patch for this even after being reported for about a month.

The new creator is stunningly easy to use. Still, not enough features, but I guess we can't have everything.

I love how easy it is to make really nice looking sims. It's like everything actually fits together nicely instead of "here's some clothes, fuck around". We might not have too much choice, but at the same time, each piece of clothing fits the sim very well unlike 3.

I wanted to live in an apartment on Sims 2, I furnished it in Build Mode before dropping my sim inand forgot it gets cleared out if your sim moves in.
I don't really know what story progression is but as long as AI sims can marry and grow old and die and have kids along with new sims moving into empty houses, I'll be happy
