I'm pretty sure that is still doing instant delivery saying it says 800+ keys in stock on the limited edition only ---- don't get standard or you'll be waiting for your key!. I got mine instantly to activate on Origin.
Then just use a Korean VPN to unlock it.

I'm just trying to figure out if the game is worth the money. I am a huge fan of the Sims, but I am skeptical. Is the game solid? Did they add enough to make up for the stuff that they removed? Maybe it's because of the revamped UI or something, but for some reason when I am looking at the game, it just looks like nothing is really happening.
Would you recommend this to somebody who has been a fan of the Sims since forever?
So whoever has been playing it I guess the main question everyone really wants to know is:
Is it worth buying?

Not sure what it shares through. It's all in-game though. You log into their servers when you start the game up. Kinda like SimCity if you played that, except not a requirement.
You can change your aspiration which changes 1 predefined trait that you get along with the aspiration. Haven't seen anything suggesting you can change the other traits yet however if it's anything like the previous sims games you'll need certain items to do such things. I probably just haven't came across those items.

Runs fantastic on max settings. No stutters, no frame drops, anything. Smooth as butter. Looks great too.
Town is quite alive yeah - loads of Sims running about and the emotion system changing peoples animations adds that bit more life too. The neighborhood system isn't bad at all.
Loading screens are very short. Like 10 seconds or less.

I like it so far, but to answer if it's worth it is going to take longer than a few hours.

It's only avaliable in game, not through Origin and not through the Sims website.

Yes, yes, and not long at all.
Game runs like butter. Load times are not long at all. It's not even comparable to The Sims 3. It's just way better.
Despite the town segregation now and the fact that going into any new lot needs a loading screen, out still feels like you're living in an ungated world. Sims walk around all the time, they stop to talk to each other, empty houses will be filled with families and everyone will age.
