Any good simmers on the youtubes apart from LGR and Sims Supply?
Is it true that progression in this game was removed and sims will not get married or have kids unless you do it for them?
They get into relationships, I made 2 families, played with one for about 10 days I think, I switched to the other one and one of the people was in love with a npc not from the family. No idea if they have kids or get married though.
Actually the mansion thing brings up a question, how large are the lot sizes? The biggest Sims 3 ones were a bit too small.
like everything pluming-wise in my house has exploded into puddles of water at the same time whhyy
Okay so don't let water touch your electronics. It's bad.
If you can edit community lots, that's a lot of room to work with, right?
Actually yeah, if you can convert commercial lots to residential lot then that would be more than enough space.

Random complaint: can't assign specific beds afaik. You need to micro who sleeps where. So for everyone still wondering if the emotion stuff that Maxis was pushing so hard before launch is actually worth a damn, I'll talk about it real quick. First off, yes, sims are super emotional and expressive. More than ever before actually, and the game makes everyone look super awesome as they talk and do things. Does it affect the game? Also yes. If you watch romantic TV you feel flirty. If you watch cooking TV and you're a food sim, you get inspiration. You can take different kinds of showers to give certain moodlets. Eat certain kinds of food. Listen to certain kinds of music. It all affects your sims mood. It can also change their wishes. Sims have three wishes but one of affected by their mood. Sad sims can cry in bed, anxious sims can give a pep talk in the mirror, energetic sims can go for a jog, and all this adds to points for lifetime rewards. These are also actions that are specific to their mood, not just available all the time. Their mood and needs can also affect how they act. Upset sims will grumble to themselves, energetic sims walk differently, etc. It might not seem like a super huge thing reading about it, and I'm sure your mileage will depends on how much you micro your sims and watch them do stuff, but it's at least neat to see how it changes your sim as they go about their business. [editline]1st September 2014[/editline] Another complaint: not enough jobs. Yeah, every career has two paths but the lack of an office or athletic job is a downer.
Getting money is really damn hard. Kinda have to rely on really good quality paintings.

it seems like it's a lot harder to make a joe everyman in this game not sure if thats a bad thing
Not too crazy about the second town, Oasis Springs.
Watching SujiEun's stream, situations similar to the sims not reacting to a family member dying the other day. (http://www.twitch.tv/sujieun) He had a main sim and his girlfriend with whom he's had three children over the stream, he decides to start charming another sim on the side. The other woman showed up at their house so he flirted with the woman in front of his girlfriend, causing her to feel jealous but not to change her overall mood from happy. Then he woohoos with the other woman in their bed, while the girlfriend stands there not responding whatsoever. When they finished woohooing she walked upstairs and her mood finally changed from happy to flirty. SMARTER SIMS. MORE EMOTIONS.
Jesus is reassuring his plants everything will be okay
Not too crazy about the second town, Oasis Springs.
Disappointing thing about Oasis Springs is that in one of the lots you can see like 70s/80s style diners with big dinosaur signs and places but you can't go there because it's just a background.
Random complaint: can't assign specific beds afaik. You need to micro who
I broke down and bought the game today and I noticed with my sims they'd always go to sleep in the bed thag I originally told them to sleep in on the first day.
I finally decided to buy the game, but now my credit card is not being accepted by the keys website or origin itself. Damn.
I finally decided to buy the game, but now my credit card is not being accepted by the keys website or origin itself. Damn.
I had the same problem. Ended up musing CJS but my transaction was flagged so now I have to wait until tomorrow for my case to be approved before I get the key.
I had the same problem. What the hell is going on...
Oh sweet my case was randomly approved, preloading now. Maybe I'll only need to spoof NA instead of Korea. Living in Europe can be a curse sometimes.
Out of curiosity, are the genetics as bad as they were in Sims 3, or did they go back to Sims 2 way of doing it?
Oh sweet my case was randomly approved, preloading now. Maybe I'll only need to spoof NA instead of Korea. Living in Europe can be a curse sometimes.
It's not out here until 10pm my time, and it's only 6pm now, so sadly no. Sick of my Google results being on Korean. :v:
Ouch. Bills are a lot more painful this time around. Make sure you're keeping some money for them.
Would anyone have any idea about how the Sims 4 might run on these specs? OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601 OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation System Manufacturer ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. System Model U47A System Type x64-based PC Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2640M CPU @ 2.80GHz, 2801 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s) BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc.
Ouch. Bills are a lot more painful this time around. Make sure you're keeping some money for them.
Is it harder to be flush with cash in this game? It seemed like in Sims 3, I wasn't necessarily wealthy but I never had issues paying bills or dealing with the usual rough and tumble while slowly upgrading the home
What about The Sims 4 that stands out the most when compared to The Sims 3? Besides that character creation. Like.. what's new? I'm not buying into that emotion crap tbh
I ordered mine through cdkeys with their permanent 5% discount for liking their facebook page, got the key on the 1st at 7PM UK time and activated it straight away with Korean VPN to play early. Having a ton of fun so far
is there any way i could get a cheap copy of this game?
is there any way i could get a cheap copy of this game?
Some people are having luck buying them on CD key websites.
