it'd be fine if he had low health [I]and[/I] self-defense [I]or[/I] mobility, but he only has low health. Tracer has the same amount but her whole character is built around being mobile, whereas Zenyatta relies heavily on his team (even though his individual damage output isn't bad)

i like my idea that his discord orb goes through shields and debuffs Reinhardt's shield to take the bonus damage. would be a much greater counter than symetra or another Reinhardt to get through the shield.

So I'm realizing that unless you get PotG using your ult to rez the entire team, any other Mercy play highlight is not a good thing.
Had 3 games in a row where some asshole went Tracer and then fucked off for the rest of the match, deliberately saying in match "I'm sabotaging you assholes. You don't deserve my skill." Oh yes, your amazing Tracer skills with a total of 2 hours and an accuracy worse than my Junkrats (which sits at 13% cause corridor spam).
Thing is Zen is high risk with minimal reward imo. Sure the damage output is bonkers but people forget that mercy's damage boost is arguably better than discord, not percentage wise but in terms of usefulness buffing one teammate to always do way more damage is gonna be way more useful than marking someone for death. Think of it in terms of TF2 buff banner is almost always more reliable than a fan of war when it comes to damage output, and mercy doesn't even have to charge up her "Buff banner". Also Zenyatta gets literally zero fire for a teammate killing an enemy he's discorded when the zen did no damage beforehand which I find pretty BS

Because then you'd just buy your favourite icon right away and so icon drops would be utterly worthless. But really icon drops are just kind of a shit idea in the first place.
Just got POTG as Zenyatta with me wiping out A Widow, Rip-tire and a mei before getting pulled into a black hole, after which I killed the Zarya and Ulted to save 3 low health teammates.
Needless to say I know where my next 1000 coins are going.
Putting aside how they play or how well you do as them, who would you guys say is your favorite hero, character-wise?
I didn't think I would, but I've really taken a liking to Zarya. There's something I like about her unflinching demeanor. Meanwhile Reaper is hilarious because of just how dorky he is.
Zenyatta took a heavy nerf early on, before most people even got to touch the game

Roadhog. He has the most satisfying reload.
I think even after McCree gets his nerf. I will still find him extremely unfun to play against. His whole kit just annoys me.
Even worse when teams I verse always seem to run two.
