To be honest, the fact that Zenyatta's only real anti-Widowmaker options are either 'hide so she can't even see you' or 'swap heroes' should say enough about her balance.
The worst thing is that nearly every game has at least 1 Widow in it, so I hardly ever get to play Zenyetta.

It sucks even more for me because Zenyatta is my favorite hero. I barely get to play him.

Fucking surprise, after winning their defence, the whole enemy team quits. As usual.
Zenyatta should be increased to 200 health or at the very least have some of his health changed to armour, so he can survive a WM bodyshot.
It really says something about how poorly balanced Widowmaker is when the new approved and highly-effective method of removing 150-200 hp that are within 5-10 feet of her is for Widowmaker to
1) Charge up a one-second shot and instant kill you on the spot if you have 150 hp if she just so happens to get lucky (and it's fucking annoying how often this seems to work even though it ABSOLUTELY SHOULDN'T)
2) Same as above except you survive with 50 health because of 200hp, she finishes you off with her SEMI AUTOMATIC RIFLE THAT RIVALS 76'S
3) lol hookshot away and ignore you as she she metaphorically laughs at you by spraying you down with bullets from her new position
Like fuck off. Replace her stupid hook shot with a double jump or something if she /really/ needed a movement ability, and that way she doesn't control 90% of the high-ledges with her easy mobility option and has to take the time to actually reposition properly instead of having it done for her. Punish her by making her have to reposition if her spot gets raided, punish her at close-ranges, fucking do something other than the way she is now.
God damn, the game just becomes a slog to play when facing against a competent team that also has a stupidly good widowmaker. You cannot possibly hope to reach one if their team is any good at all, why is she so fucking complicated to kill?

I've been able to counter snipe widowmakers before with him but it was always a super risky thing and I either got lucky or they were just bad to begin with but at this point I just hide. It's too much of a gamble. I really can't wait for her nerf and mccree's nerfs.
I'm still confused why McCree is first in the nerf train over Widowmaker
Both are bad but Widowmaker is far worse

She has all the upsides of a sniper (and more) with literally none of the typical downsides. I can't fathom how they thought this was ok.
What bothers me more is the fact that Blizzard either, failed to get alpha/beta testers who reports extremely obvious issue, or Blizzard ignored said reports and feedback.
Other than obvious hero balance issues, how did broken achievements like "Rapid Discord" and "Lockdown" make it live?

Tbh if you are S76 or McCree you should man up versus Widows - you're basically the only thing that can [I]somewhat reliably[/I] kill them from a distance(aside from another sniper). Just face them head on and move like a mad man from side to side while crouching(never jump though, its a death sentence). All the hitscan weapons are pretty accurate when fired in bursts( the Revolver is stupid accurate) so you can actually snipe them back if you're really good or just scare them away.
I mean if they're a [I]god [/I] you're dead anyway, but if they miss the first shot chances are that you can contest them. Much better than trying to run for cover and get your face blown off.

Genji can handle Widow "reliably" too. And I don't just mean getting her to headshot herself. He can chase her down when she grapples onto something. Really the biggest issue is not losing sight of her, luckily his viewmodel isn't too big.

Widowmaker is one of the only Heroes that tucks her legs up for some reason and is annoying as [B]FUCK[/B] when they're hopping around because "lol my popsicle-thick model is now half the size lolololol." Good luck keeping track of one up close as Torb.
I think the only problem with Widowmaker is just that she has too much HP
She needs about 200 less
fucking symettra gave me shields as a Zenyatta and the first thing i thought when i saw my health was "did zenyatta get a buff?!"

Had a game yesterday as Zenyatta with an allied Symmetra and Toblerone.
I think one enemy got to touch the first capture point once for half a second, other than that they didn't even get near it.
I want to play Overwatch just to play every support hero and fill anything that my team is missing.
I don't have it.

just now on kings row i climbed up to the high door before the game started, speedboosted and wallrode the buildings at sanic speed to their widowmaker and killed her 1v1
then my team collapsed on the point and we got the first point without a single respawn wave from the defenders
I dream of a game where one team goes 6 Zenyattas and allow enemy team push the payload without violence.

Because I don't like playing selfishly, I only do that if I REALLY have to.
I don't like the fact in order to even do any cool parkour you have to be in speed mode, which means I'm not supporting the team with healing. And even then if I am doing parkour in healing mode, it's line of sight based.

risky strats like that are only viable with the double lucio composition, if you die you literally fuck your entire team over and stop a push / lose the first point garunteed

however if you do have 2 lucios sending one to fuck on the widowmaker is legit
Widowmaker has too much in her kit for what her role is supposed to be, it's as simple as that and needs to be normalized pronto:
-200hp (Why is it not 150?).
-Has a small hitbox because she's twig-sized to begin with, and as Doom14 pointed out halve her htibox by jumping, what the fuck, why is this a thing, normalize that shit to be in line with every other jumps.
-Bodyshots that can one-shot 2 classes, shutting them down and practically preventing them from being used if a Widow is present, if you miss? You can try again in 1.5 second, or you can wait half of that and headshot for the same damage, ridiculous - change bodyshot damage to 125 and make it so that widow can only shoot when fully charged, or let her shoot at any charge but increase the full charge to 3 seconds so they have to consider when to plink.
-A hook that is [B] refunded [/B] if you screw up and launch it at nothing. Fuck that, some people say it's because it's inconsistent, well if we start refunding cooldowns everytime someone gets screwed by inconsistency we might aswell have the no cooldown brawl in default.
-A really strong sidearm with no weapon switch time, fires as fast as 76's pulse rifle, has more ammo, and only does 4 less damage per bullets (ontop of that she reloads faster than Bastion, and only 0.5 second slower than 76), what the hell, at least make it so it takes time to switch between the firing modes.
-Has a tool (mines) to detect someone coming in from the sideroutes / flanks (what little there are), and has a 15 second wall hack that is barely audible by the enemy team, not that it matters much since you hear enemies stomping around unless they crouch but they'll never catch you if they crouch the whole way. They really need to make such a dangerous ult audible to everyone, anywhere, just like how the enemy team starts calling out when a teleporter is up. It also doesn't help that most maps are designed to have side routes converging at the same chokepoints, reducing her need to keep on the move for multiple entrance thus reducing the chances of actually being ambushed.
-Is just as fast on foot as her supposed counters if both have CD on their mobility, speaking of which, how is Winston even remotely dangerous to Widow if she's perched on a ledge? All that WILL happen is Winston jumppacks onto her, shocks her for about 50 damage, and Widow simply looks somewhere and hooks away, now Winston is standing here with a good 4-seconds left before his jump pack comes back, annnd he's dead because if it's a Widow worth a damn, gg so much for the counter you didn't even really disrupt since that was just a few seconds at best and you're now standing alone on a ledge being a prime target.
Seriously what the fuck, look at this wall of bullshit she has at her disposal, Widowmaker almost single-handedly saps the fun out of the game whenever there's one present for me, Mccree's 500dmg flashbang fan hammer bullshit comes second but is so very far from Widowmaker I can't understand why they're not focusing on Widow first and foremost other than typical Blizzard favored class trend they've always had.

Wait if you leave a match right before you win/lose, does not count it as a loss/win or..?
It also doesn't help that they put a sniper with no downsides into a game with huge wide open areas in its maps.

The match is over the second you see the Victory/Defeat logo. Any sooner and you just quit the match and don't get the benefits. Pretty sure it also counts towards the leaver penalty.
