Overwatch - Scientists baffled by team's ability to fuck up every time

I can appreciate the timer being incredibly short during an actual match, it's often [i]not short enough[/i] and you'll get rolled because your healer or tank has been standing still in the spawn room for you to die and come back to see them several times
timing out during setup is harsh though. What if I'm just not doing anything because I'm on attack and there's 45 seconds til we spawn into the starting area and another 60 after that before the gates open
I had the stupid idea to post on Blizzard's forums in that nerf thread.
Boy was that stupid.

I wouldn't mind it at all in Competitive whenever it launches, but it's silly in Quick Play. We're in the middle of an easy win, I die with a 12 second timer - oh well, let me answer the door since the person won't stop knocking. Short convo, dash back, less than one minute has passed - bap, out. Well gl team guess you don't need me anymore, hope the rando that joins and spends 15s picking a class and another 30 getting oriented to the team comps and match status was worth it.
a half decent zenyatta paired with a torbjorn (bonus for symmetra as well) is a fucking nightmare

That's the problem with playing supports. Your tiny HP means that popping your head out for a second is like a D-Day charge and if there's a Widowmaker you're going to die 80% of the time.

The quote was exactly what I said btw. It was just met really negatively.
I just find it incredibly funny that the Tips that pop up dealing with Hanzo and Widowmaker both respectively say "if you must" in them, as if you have a choice to flank them in certain maps like Temple of Anubis and King's Row's first point
I like how most of the tips summed up just say "Don't get hit lol"

Mei, the tracking on the Tolbjorn's turret, who ever will pop up after those characters are changed.

maybe genji, in my experience dealing with good genjis is a nightmare
My favourite one is is "If Torbjorn's turret is blocking your path, find another route!" like jesus game I guess I'll just jump off the edge of the map because there IS no other route.

there's no chat specific thing, you have to disable the whole HUD, but then you're missing everything else from the play itself
