Why do Mcree's flashbangs work from behind?
loud/powerful concussion
I still hate how easy it is for a McCree to just ignore Reinhardt's shield by aiming the flashbang a bit upwards.
It has no business stunning him when he's charging either. But that's just McCree, I suppose.
There's got to be some optimal solution for hero stacking that only allows for one of each hero, but allows people to swap to that hero if someone's sucking or hogging the class.
There's just no fun when two of the same class gives incredible synergy that's very hard to deal with, especially if you're attacking a team with dual heroes. Two Meis (easy to stall/wall off chokes constantly, quicker freezes, double Blizzards, and they can heal while invuln and block doorways while doing it), two McCrees (flash fan x2), two Torbjorns (good luck getting past point A of Hanamura), two Zaryas (two tanks that can shield themselves as well as each other, where shielding the other gives them 400 extra theoretical health and shielding themselves gives them 200, good luck getting a shot in), it's just fucking hell. Let alone two shit Widows/Hanzos on your team wasting player slots.
Memes be damned, Reaper doesn't cut it for a proper genocide crusade. He's too slow to quickly move to new victims, and he can't easily stay close enough for his DPS to be the highest. Tracer on the other hand is a precision engineered mass murderer that can move from target to target and kill quickly with minimal downtime. With the limited time in a match speed is vital to putting in the grave as many as you can.
I had a guy tell me mcree was more skillful than tracer? do i not know how these heroes work or is he retarded

because flashBANGS are really fucking loud.

It's even more terrifying with a skin.

McCree often requires E, RMB, shift, RMB to kill whereas Tracer usually only requires shift (maybe two), LMB. McCree has higher APM and therefore requires more skill.
I just kicked a McCree to low health then killed him with an orb to the back as he tried to run away (I was Zenyatta).
It was very satisfying.

Tracer requires more skill when it comes to knowing what you're actually doing when it comes to dodging around and timing your rewind and such though.

Sorry I poe's law'd there because there are probably people who think that

I was honestly really kind of confused as to why you would say what you said :v:
Tracer is pretty much all about situational awareness and knowing when to make a retreat, coaxing enemies into dropping their guard and sometimes having to deal with the fact there's little you can do at times until your team can punish the enemies being distracted, you wait for your bombs to recharge so you can break fortified defenses alot of the time.
She requires high reaction time in order to live being bursted down and knowing which weakened target to go after next, i'd say she's alot harder to play than a Mcree who can sit back behind a shield and still do well, with the occasional flashbang to save his ass or make encounters piss easy

That and tracking aim. You're way more effective if you can kill 200s with one mag.

Such nice people
Won a few matches in a row with some stack, they said I was a "solid player" and invited me.
Then we won 5 more rounds. 9 win streak!!! God bless friendly randoms who aren't potatoes.

I love recruiting random dudes from the jaws of solo queue and into our 4-5 stack if they're good players, they're generally really grateful.
I feel like an idiot when I teleport to a flank as Reaper and not realize that flank is currently occupied by the enemy Widowmaker and she's just preparing a shot to my head as soon as I phase over..
I feel like more like an idiot when I that 3 times in different places in a single round.

Being an annoying turd as Lucio is fun.

Interesting
Apparently I kept shooting at the d.va even after I died
McCree is supposed to hard counter Tracer but he's still possible to deal with. Dodge the flash with blinks/recall and abuse the fact that he has to commit to his fans by blinking out of range when he starts or blinking around/behind him (if he isn't able to track you).
EDIT: Also most McCrees will predictably flashbang as soon as they see you
Every time i try blinking the flashbang reactively mccree somehow bends spacetime and pulls me back to the blink start location while yelling whoa there
No idea if this has already been posted but this week there will probably be a balance patch for McCree and Widowmaker.

Wouldn't mind if Lucio could push back more than just players with his secondary. Like what genuine can but not as effective

Considering it goes off 5 feet in front of Mcree's face, I hope the upcoming patch will make it so that it also stuns him. :buddy:
[sp]Yes, I know it's gonna be a FtH nerf[/sp]
last night a couple of us played til like 4am central, was a blast. There were a LOT of losses, but most of them were close overtime games so it wasn't too bad. Apparently my w/l ratio has gone up 00.10%!
we had this guy named Jester though, who was your run of the mill trash talker who just can't not have the last word, so of course R4GE kept saying blatantly dumb nonsense to keep him boasting and shittalking. His team beat us pretty thoroughly, but he legitimately did nothing. I saw him run by once at the second checkpoint after we stomped the first. But still, some pretty great interactions were had just talking at him
we left the game after that match, waited like two or three minutes so somebody could join up with us, then looked for another match. After a combined 5ish minutes, oh man we're playing against this dude again. They still beat us but the only time I saw him I DVa-blocked his reaper ult and he died
besides the 'haha you lost git gud' stuff being met by 'but u died???' and other 'wait I thought we won' nonsense, I remember this one fondly
jester: suck a cock
R4GEORDR: I only suck crack :)
jester: start with mine
[then when we found them in the second game]
I'm here to suck jester's crack
