Higher rate of fire with same spread would probably be better. If you tighten the spread and decrease drop off then that's going to fuck with Dvas ability to fight close range targets even more. It will be completely unable to fight close targets like ambushed Widowmakers or Tracers more so than it is right now. If the rate of fire is increased then that improves it's damage output generally without making it too strong at long range.
How would that make it worse at close range?
Oh hey, I played with him earlier. Imagine limiting your fun to 1/21 of the game's content
I played with that Genji dude too n few days ago Apparently it's a small world.
How would that make it worse at close range?
If you tighten the spread then that means it's going to be harder to hit fast moving close range targets. You have a smaller window to hit targets, and when you are meant to be firing at point blank range that's going to be a problem.

The quickplay teammates are so incompetent I'm genuinely amazed they don't all choke themselves to death on their own saliva midway through the game
It's probably a combination of long term player feedback, pro player feedback, and statistics. I think blizzard mostly look at statistics.
I'd love to see win rates for each hero in quickmatch. Would be interesting to see who the outliers are.

http://masteroverwatch.com/heroes Kinda funny how mercy is the lowest and symmetra is the highest in terms of winrate, while mercy is the highest and symmetra is the lowest in terms of popularity.
McCree and Widowmaker are the ones most needing nerfs Mei needs a rework in general Zenyatta and D.Va need a buff.
I'm not quite sure what the best way to buff D.Va might be, well for starers tone down that massive crit hitbox, heck there are two open bits either side of the pilots window where her arms are fully exposed, make the hitbox those or something. Secondly her guns could either use some reduction in their falloff and tighten the spread a little so as not to increase her DPS but to make it more viable outside of point blank range. You could also rework the weapons into something else, perhaps something more fun as opposed to just yet another shotgun (albeit a full auto shotgun), Something that befits the name "Fusion Cannon" because as they stand they both look, feel and sound weak as shit for something with the name "FUSION CANNONS" because right now they sound like dual paper popguns. You could go one of two routes, either make them into a more viable ranged weapon or perhaps give them an Alt fire. A small amount of burst would be nice, something perhaps with a bit of range to pick off fleeing heros, I don't wanna say rocket pods, cool as that would be because it treads on Solider 76's toes. Going with the "FUSION CANNONS" I think if the alt fire was two mid ranged blasts, something not unlike symmetras alt fire (Cept faster and less of an AOE, possibly not shield penetrating) Quite often I wish the "FUSION CANNONS"™ fired the projectile the pilot pistol fires because dang if I don't get more kills with that than the "FUSION CANNONS"™. Heck thanks to the mediocrity of the Fusion Cannons (I'll stop now) coupled with the absurd headshot hitbox of the mech itself I often find myself killing more tracers and Genji's outside the mech than in. Other aspects of the mech are fine... good even in my opinion. Her thrusters are by and large one of the most fun mobility skills to use, which is a though call between that and doing some good Lucio wall-runs. The defence Matrix COULD use some tweaking but the amount of times I've negated a Pharah, reaper or roadhog ult is too many to count (and it never stops being funny) Supposedly I've countered Hanzo and Zarya ults too but they were somewhat Unceremonious. Not sure how to change it without making it worthless, OP or just Reinheardt 1.2. Like most hero's, it's a complicated balancing act between not having too much overlap with other hero's, not destorying what makes them the hero and not having them fall into the twin ravines of "Bullshit OP" and "Worthless, just play someone else" Which is a shame because I do like me a nice stompy robot but rather than a mech it's more like a meh-k.
Underpowered as in Health. His health is way too low and just about anything will 1 shot him. He has no mobility to compensate meanwhile Mercy and Lucio have some form of mobility to keep them away from danger.
To compensate for his squishyness he is the only healer that can heal from a very long distance though. It kinda makes sense that he has lower HP than Mercy/Lucio, seeing as his orbs makes him a pretty high-priority target (discord orbs are really crippling) and he's most likely not fighting on the frontlines anyway. And when he is on the frontlines he's protected by his team most of the time. As a Zen main I know how aggrevating being one-shot is, but if you consider his power in a team that protects him well, I don't think having low HP makes him underpowered.
Fuck, I keep pressing Q and wasting an ult by accident. I really need to rebind that.
My W/L ratio is exactly 1:1 how the fuck

D.Vas mech does 0.5-3 damage per pellet, and its 8 pellets per shot, 7 shots per second. So the MAXIMUM damage output if you are directly next to someone and every shot hits the body: 168 DPS. But most of the time you wont be RIGHT behind someone, so it'll probably be about 1 per pellet, so realistically maybe 56 DPS.

I took a video of some typical Genji gameplay. Anyone have any tips on how to improve?
Just give people some slowness when being revived or something. My main problem with Mercy is that her "escape" barely works half the time and is pretty much only useful for pocketing Pharahs or trying to get in for a quick revive.
People she is reviving can't do anything but look around for the entire duration. That shows you everyone who is being brought back and gives you time to prepare to kill them. Hell, I regularly see decent teams wait for me to revive then theyll burst everyone down as soon as the revival is finished giving little time for them to prepare. We do the same thing in our groups too.
"we need a healer" "but i want to be my friend's pocket medic" Excuse me? EXCUSE ME? but it was a match of vs ai so no one gave a shit now if this was in quickplay everyone would've been mad as all hell
:dogwow: [editline]6th June 2016[/editline] in other news i wonder if making d.va's gun having less damage drop off and tighter spread would work as a buff
Imo dva just needs her headshot hitbox removed and shed be good.
I would put Mercy on top of my "most annoying" list. Oh no, did you just kill my entire team with an ult combo? Heroes never die!
I keep seeing people go, "We just burned our ulti combo/all our ultimates to wipe a team then Mercy comes and revives everyone!" And the thing is that is exactly what she is designed to do. Don't burn your ulti combo so quickly, don't ulti spam. She punishes that. Play it smart and use one ultimate with team support, let her revive, then prepare by watching where people are reviving and then use your ulti combo. Lazy/poor ultimate use is perfect fodder for a Mercy.

Difference is she doesn't lose it when she dies, but it also takes her a long time to get back in the fight, she has to wait for the right moment for it to be effective, and it doesn't have quite as much pushing power as total invincibility anyways. edit: if you're using Pharah's ult or something like that, your first target should be Mercy don't shoot anyone else till she's dead or there's a chance they'll come right back
I would put Mercy on top of my "most annoying" list. Oh no, did you just kill my entire team with an ult combo? Heroes never die!
Well - take care of Mercy first. Or any healer nearby. It's not that difficult. Then ult and make an armageddon. That's all. :v:
So today I unboxed a lootbox and got this: [t]http://i.imgur.com/eLeeeO5.jpg[/t] when I reached next level I got this: [t]http://i.imgur.com/dsZKsJG.jpg[/t] RNG gods have blessed me today
I think blizzard is being way too lazy with some of this stuff. Same with emotes. Pretty much every standard emote is putting their hands on the side or hips
One of Reaper's highlight intro's is just his ult with different camera angles and the other one is one his emotes with different camera angles.
