I purchased this video game last night. It is a fun video game. That is all.
this "stomp or get stomped" matchmaking is seriously tiring now..
Road Hog is so so much fun to play
I'm regularly getting team kills and running over a 10 kdr with like 20+ kills a game/round
Is it just me or is Zarya's weapon absolutely terrible
I just had a game attacking on Route 66 and our team was getting crushed pretty hard. We got stopped at the third checkpoint and we just couldnt make a push. Some guy on my team went "gg" then the game went into over timesince me(as D.Va) and another guy were on the payload. Overtime went on for maybe 2-3 minutes before we finally got the checkpoint and eventually went on to win the game. Shit like that where my heart is racing the entire time is what makes this game amazing.
I think I went through 3 or 4 mechs each at both the third checkpoint and the last one trying to push it.

There's something super satisfying about picking the healer out of a group of enemies and just absolutely blowing their face off.

This is one of the main reasons why I check Mercy's status or position (If they have one) before ulting now. Those were quite nightmares
i just had a mercy tell me (and proceed to do so) that she was gonna stay with the widow and damage boost her while i stay with the team :speechless:

Do you mean in terms of game balance or in terms of you've never read the skills descriptions and don't know how to charge it?

I once helped a Widowmaker get PotG by buffing her like that. It was of her sniping the players as they ran out of spawn during the first few seconds of the game. Guess the game was boring if they chose that.

My usual tactic is to hide around corners and lob stuff until I get charge. They don't know any better

the thing is a widow has to be good in the first place to make it any sort of worthwhile to take a player out of the game like that just to dedicate them to buffing one other player, and our widow did pretty much fuck all that game

I mean, we knew the whole enemy team was there and after I ultied it was hard to see everyone in it, but the difference between getting her and not was a matter of fucking feet.
Clearly we won anyway but that put a damper on me.

It's why when I ult as Genji I head DIRECTLY for Mercy first.

Press F1 when you are selecting a character and read how their skills work. Probably best to do this in the training/practice room (I forget what it's called) rather than in a real match. Then you can screw around with different characters against the target dummies as well.

The problem with the firing range is the dummies that shoot you barely gives you charge for Zarya so you can't actually see how deadly is she when fully charged.
Sure but I think it's more important not to go into a game without knowing what the skills even do. Sometimes you still see Symmetras trying to heal their allies with the gun for example.
Anyone else having weird connection issues? Like two weeks ago I was fine. But now I have a small amount of lag every 20-30 seconds. I don't know if it is my fault or not. Because as far as I know the only thing using Internet in the house is Overwatch when I play.

You can also host a custom game and play with/against AI. Or you could play with other people vs. AI but this way no one can see you be bad at video games :v:
I threw my D. Va ult into the air on the middle hole area of Ilios and only after I shot it up into the air with the thrusters on did I realize that it was headed straight into the fucking well.
There was a Pharah overtop of it, a Lucio wallriding on the inside of the well, and then the Mercy following the Pharah, and somehow, some way, I killed all three of them.
It was the most dumb luck PotG I've ever seen in this game.
