Attacking the 2nd point as Junkrat is one of my favorite things in the whole game. It's situated so perfectly to hide and spam from so many different spots.

Kings Row can suck a dick, the entire map is 1 big chokepoint where you will be getting bodyshot by widowmakers for the entire round

First ragequit tonight after facing a good mccree who consistently flash+melted me from full health to zero as fucking reinhart with mercy healing me and my shield up. I'm really not sure how to counter that, besides hoping my teammates catch him first (which they consistently did not)

I can't wait for something other than Payload/Point maps. I love playing KotH at the moment, always fun for me. Attack/Defense is just like TF2 on Dustbowl back in those days.
Attacking is easy because in an uncoordinated team you can just murder someone's defenses alone most of the time (Genji and Reaper are good at it) and Defending feels more like a chore than it does something to have fun.
I really think Mercy's ultimate has a lot to do with spawn point placement and the distance from which the points are from the base. With Hanamura it doesn't matter because you spawn from the same spot regardless of which point is active while defending, but it feels skewed heavily towards pushing people to play Mercy because she's really a "get out of spawn free" card.
It frustrates me that I perceive her as so ridiculously powerful and that her ultimate is just too good in comparison to other supports but no one else seems to share that thought with me. It's like she's almost similar to McCree in that aspect, yeah, there are other supports, but why pick them? She's just better. and if you run double support, even better. Lucio Sound Barrier/Zenyatta Transcendence + Mercy Resurrect makes for a pretty unstoppable team when they're coordinated.
Lucio has his downtime. His healing is stifled when Amp is on cooldown, Zenyatta is really only reliable in healing squishies effectively, unless we're talking about Transcendence, and... Well, Symmetra doesn't heal.
Maybe it's just that teams I currently play with are so dumb that they need a babysitting healer to follow them around and make sure they don't die.
Either way, I hate playing Mercy, and I hate that she's a necessity at my matchmaking level. She's disengaging and unfun, and I hope to god Blizzard's efforts in making new heroes go to making a more engaging healer that can be effective without being stupid OP.

spoilers: there is no counter to a good mcree player, he's absolutely the most broken hero in the entire game and has been broken since closed beta

What are you even supposed to do against double/triple tobjorn defenses? Having a hero whose entire point is that he is generally well rounded while also being able to effectively place a stationary 7th teammate, with no cooldown or punishment for having his turret broken, 100 damage-on-headshot spammable alt fire, and having an insanely strong steroid ult that is guaranteed to have a 100% uptime every time you're actually able to push able to be stacked is nuts. I played 3 games of attack tonight and every single one had at least 2 tobjorns. Just seems insurmountable, not to mention unfun. I started up this pvp game to pvp, not pve.

hero stacking in general seems like it just needs to be removed, it's funny to stack all of one hero the first few times but it causes so many frustrating balancing issues that I don't know if the joke's worth the effort. Didn't competitive overwatch just ban hero stacking because of double mccree/double winston antics?
I find Roadhog to be a lot of fun on the second point of Volskaya. The area is small enough you can hook pretty much anyone able to shoot at you provided you hang around the middle area and it's too much fun going whole hog when they enemy team is trying to flank and pushing them over the edge.

You can cancel Mercy's glide by pressing shift a second time while in the air.

I'd like her shift to be re-worked so that each character on your team is bound to 1-5, and you can press their assigned key to swooce to them specifically as long as they are within range. It would totally eliminate how frustrating it is at the moment, especially if theres a fatass Roadhog on your team always in the way. You could also add how it is now on top of that for players that prefer it.

on the death replay I saw him drop me from 100% to ~25% on the first hammer fan which means he was dealing over 300 damage through armor with a right click-- the only thing that does comparable damage in one click is reinhart's charge, and that requires you to drop all defenses and hope the opponent doesn't move out of the way, and even THEN it does less damage (max 300 damage iirc). It's simply absurd.
As an aside I just did the math and almost every one of those hits must have been a headshot. I'm not sure how that's possible unless the spread on that ability is way less than I thought it was, or some sort of aim assist was being used
