What's a reliable way to make money? I'm having a really difficult time getting enough cash to buy weapons after all the people that raid me every time I leave the waiting room. Doing quests and selling loot doesn't even cover half of the cash I lose, so I'm now going through the level 20+ floors without armor or weapons.

I really don't feel like spending an hour or two just to get enough money to buy what I need. It sucks that the enemies on floor 20+ don't drop much more than enemies on floor 1.

Higher floors drop more expensive blueprints, so remember to pick those up and sell them.
It can be quite a grind, but I usually kill 2 birds with one stone and choose a fighter I want to level up, start him at around floor 5, and work my way up naturally. I use any weapon an enemy drops and keep my ordinary high damage weapon for haters and bosses. Makes quick work of them.
Also, try some high difficulty challenges. They give around 5000 to 10000 killcoins depending on the challenge.
Wow I kept hearing people bitch about Goto-9 on floor 23 and I just kicked it's shit in. People really need to learn how to abuse mushrooms.
The ones after that really require you to abuse the slowshrooms and stingshrooms. Its the best way to get through it with tier 2 weapons.
PSA don't dodge locked on. It makes you roll in stupid directions and will get you impaled on a defender's rapier while raiding.

wait, why does facepunch say I'm in canada now
Ya but you can only do the quests once before the reward gets cut by like 90%. My problem is that in order for me to get enough weapons and armor to really make progress on the level 20+ floors I need at least 20-30k. Since I always lose my entire stash whenever I leave the waiting room that means I have to farm for that 20-30k in one session before returning. Then I can buy the gear I need, but that only gets me through a few levels before they all break.
It doesn't help that I have to wait for an arbitrary timer every time I buy something, so it takes like half an hour before I go back up. I really don't understand why bought items and R&D need timers.

Idk, I think I'll put the game on the backburner for a while so that people will stop raiding me all the time. It's killing my fun too fast.

I'd rather level my stuff up first so I'm ready to take those upper floors on properly, instead of struggling and just barely getting by. I can see myself putting a hole through my wall if I have to fight more enemies as difficult as that GOTO.

All you need is +4 red hot iron+, transparashroom and stingshroom.
Mushrooms makes stuff so handy but i guess that's the point of them.
Floor 21-30 is good for Shooter, right?
whenever i play i never make any progress i just explore the side floors

Blunt is good, and I think pierce resist armor is good there.
This is my new favorite waiting room song. It's funny hearing the calm elevator music, and then this comes on.

I'm completely lost in 12 & 13F. I have no idea how to unlock some of these doors and the ones that show they're unlocked can't be reached until I come from a higher floor.

I think you have to defeat the boss on 11F

Found the place where it'd potentially be, but there's a gate in the way. No switch or anything near by.

You have to ignore the closed gate with no switch and move on, then at 13th Floor you'll be going down and return to 11th floor from another side where you can unlock to defeat the boss.
Some other locked doors come from side areas.
So in other words: you'll be circling around a bit between these floors.

I can't though, the gates that I could use to circle with are locked.

You need to find the door to Seyane from the 10th floor, which will be unlocked and will let you go upwards to the 12th floor, 13th floor, and then back down to the rear of the 11th floor where you'll come into the boss arena from the other side.
I might stop playing the game until i run out of Death Metals.
I just get too frustrated when the AI just perfect frame combo me. I just got 4 hit combo by a Hunter Machete, 2 normal hits followed by the jumping attack and normal hit again. The only way to get out is to perfect guard but by the time you get hit you're in the goretastic state.
And it doesn't help locking on is trash
I stopped playing at Floor 26. Let It Die is one of these F2P games which I just wish had a "pay to unlock everything" option. It seems that you have to mostly just grind bosses to upgrade your gear since your characters max out relatively quickly. And I don't like that one bit.
My favorite shit is getting hit for lethal damage while lifeshroom is up, getting healed, but said hit made me groggy, so I just get goretastic'd and die anyway.
Like, just fuck me up I guess.

Or getting hit so hard, it goes through the health the lifeshroom would have given you and kills you anyway.

I agree, the game is really fun and handles well but the f2p grind killed it for me as I don't have the time to invest.
Have they released the ost somewhere yet? I can't seem to find anything on it.
Doesn't seem like it. The store is "coming soon" on their website though so I'm assuming when that comes so will the soundtrack.
Oh hey, Zero Punctuations video made me check if this game is finally available in Finland. It is!
I can ditch my fake US-account until regions fuck me over again. Goddammit.
The fact that you have a hundred songs on the radio but you can only listen to them in the waiting room is really weird.
I max level a tier 3 fighter and still get one-combod down with the machete at 10+ floors :why:
time to rnd slash resist
Has anyone had that weird glitch when after you defeat GOTO-9 while being near him you can't do any actions (including picking up items and trying to use switches) without slipping off expect for rolling? That softlocked me until Jackal arrived, and to my surprise, i was still glitched when i choosed another fighter until i reloaded.

You should always be prepped well before ascending to another dozen floors, they have big difficulty jumps. Like for example when i moved to 20+ i was wrecked hard because i didn't prepare well (in plan of heal items and not fully upgraded tier 2 armor).
I love when I prep real good and the first enemy is a hater that one-combos me and I have to waste a dm immediately.

Yeah I have that too. I though the floor was mighty slippery after being drenched in GOTO vomit, but after 15 minutes falling like an idiot on the same spot, it's probably not the vomit :v:

Hell when I jumped from 17-18 suddenly the enemies were tanky as shit and hit extremely hard. Fuck that one floor with the 4+ snipers.
This game is way too hard. Literally all of my dudes are dead because everytime I tried to get more money on lower floors or rescue them, a high level hater or hunter fucks me up in two hits.
The fact that they offer a subscription is also laughable.
