I haven't gotten too far in yet but I'm really enjoying it. My only question is, what's with the caps on stats? Will I never be able to get my health past a certain threshold with certain characters?
Later on, you unlock different types of fighters that can level up more. The "all-rounder" caps at 25.

Oh nice, I just got 4 skulls from the daily box.
You can also unlock higher level caps for classes (though you need a new character) and some characters have a chance at having a naturally higher max level.
Don't get too attached to your starters.
Man I really like this game's soundtrack. And the execution moves are awesome.
Oh sweet I can finally buy pants

My original starter sucked and would keep dying at the first floor. His replacement is doing a lot better, even killed a level 24 who was at my world.
Can you get more character storage?

According to the support page of the Let It Die website you can upgrade the freezer, the bank, and the soul bank, as well as unlock more storage space. HOW you do that I don't know, I've only gotten to floor 4 and maxed 2 basic all-rounders.
Yeah, I haven't figured out what the SP or whatever you get from killing haters is yet? It says you can upgrade your base with it, but not being there yet is there anything else it's used for?

You use it, as well as materials, to do R&D to unlock new items to buy in the shop, as well as using SP and materials to upgrade already unlocked gear.
You can upgrade your kill coins, SPLithium and character storage with the TDM stuff you get after reaching level 4. That's the main sink for SPLithium. This game is pretty sweet apart from the fact that the servers are dead again...
Wait VELTPUNCH did music for this game?! Holy fuck
Or is it just included music
MAN I'm bad at this game.
"All 100 bands on the Let It Die soundtrack have contributed an original song. Each song shares the same title: "Let It Die."
All bands were handpicked by Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill, Shadows of the Damned, Killer Is Dead). I think it's a really neat idea.
"The soundtrack includes many of my personal favorite bands, as well as bands whose music I felt fit the game's unique style.
My goal was to assemble a mix of great bands, without the involvement of record label politics."
Is there something I'm missing with the Fireworks Launcher? It doesn't seem like it does much damage at all
Is it just there as a baby's first ranged option and I just got spoiled getting a magnum out of my daily reward or whatever?

if you shoot food items with it, they're automatically grilled.
Maybe i'm just really stupid.. but is there any way to reload your gun?

mejin throws alot of rng tips out, keep bothering him every now and then for more
So do you get to a new level every ten floors? I just made it to the surface last night.
I think they made it so the magnum was the first thing you ever get. I lost mine very early on in a explosive mushroom related accident. Maybe firearms are a more common thing later on but right now HP/STR/VIT are a safe option to level. Kinda wish Block and Dodge wasnt the game button, personally and Iframes seem to be non existant.
Also, levelling up the proficiency of a weaoon style gives you an extra attack at level 10...? I'm able to do strong attacks with my fists with pressing R1/L1.
People with Irons seem to be giving me the most trouble. Never thought i'd say that before.
Combat feels so clunky and slow, luckily enemies can kill each other but unluckily that feature seems to be messing up my 'kill all enemies with [weapon]'.
Probably too used to have I-frames on rolls and not to get stunlocked by 3 enemies at same time
Yeah, fighting multiple enemies is a bit of a clusterfuck
I had to fight three normal enemies at once and it was honestly too much for me and I had to run away
...That might just be me being a coward
Dropkicks are the most fun thing
You'd think with regular enemies being able to hurt each other that they would have some infighting with each other after a little while but only Haters will fight regular enemies.
So I've defeated the first boss, COEN or whatever he's called, and I can't proceed to the next floor. It says "The floor ahead has not been prepared yet. Please wait and try again." whenever I try to up the escalator. What does that mean?
Edit: I found out why, apparently the game hadn't fully downloaded yet, even though I let it download almost all of yesterday.
Right, so I've only now figured out how to find healing items.
Don't stomp on the frogs. I've had all these tear gas things that could had been healing items. Tear Gas is useful for escaping but, not dying on the first floor is somewhat better.
The more you know.
Doesn't the note when you first find a frog tell you about that.
With beasts you can pick em up and eat them raw, cook them (which you can do with a firework launcher too) n stomp on em getting a mushroom.
Speaking of beasts I just got killed by a scorpion when I tried to eat it on 1hp. Ow.

protip: if you see multiple enemies ahead of you, just move forward slowly until one comes after you, and lure them away from the others. That way you can take them down one at a time.
Better tip, aggro them all and dropkick them.
Remember kids. When you want to cook something just walk right up to the fire, switch to throw mode and use the prompt to hold the item in the fire to cook it.
Don't be a fucking idiot like me and throw shit at the fire, hoping it cooks. It'll work, but it's a huge pain in the ass.
is there even a point in leaving fighters to defend your waiting room? it seems laughably easy to raid them

Prevent hilariously incompetent players from getting a free ride?
