Wow. I got two shotted by a hater with a Firework Launcher from 600 health, it has a stun too. Fucking what?
In my travels to reach areas I unlocked I discovered not one but two seperate floors which I could not access because their unlock switches were on the other side of the grate. Go up an escalator, then go right back down. The second such I had to go back through JIN-DIE to reach. Let's just say that things did not go anywhere near as I expected this time, as the following two videos will illustrate. Bit of a waste of a death metal, but I was carrying three blueprints so it had to be done.
The firework launcher when upgraded is a god fist
Yeah, when I first got it, I was like "Is this a joke weapon? Screamers wielding them aren't even scary" Then I got some ranks in and found out it upgrades to a DoT attack and immediately my interest piqued. It even started doing respectable damage when I leveled Dex a bit. If what you're saying is true, I can wait to max it!
Man, fuck those super fast robot things that do the spinning blade attack. Those have to be the most annoying things in the game, especially when you have to face multiple ones.

Oh, that would've saved me a lot of trouble when I died to a machete wielding hater twice before saying fuck it and running away with a bunch of loot.
Is there still no way to get the soundtrack?
I'm going to be really disappointed if the only way to get the OST ends up being terrible quality Youtube videos.

Could be worse.

Jesus, the Candol Wolf area is a lot harder than the previous areas. All the enemies are a much lower level than me, but they take so many hits. All of my weapons are weak.
Any news on availability in more countries yet?

How tall is the tower of Barb actually? Looking at the gears manufacturer, it seems like its more than 30 floors
I need to listen Let It Die music while going to work, hope at least I can purchase it because the music is addicting

Yeah some of the things in this game just don't like to work when they should. After my newest low level got killed by a Hater (in a single swipe!) while exploring, I went back down to that floor with my Striker to properly punish whatever Hater sat there on my return. Sure enough, there's a dude with a shotgun. Being cautious, I snipe him (and somehow kill the screamers behind him), and believe the path is clear. Then the trap triggers. But there are no enemies to kill, so now my Striker is fucking stuck in the trap. Seriously. Why aren't the traps set up so that they recognize if enemies are present before they trigger, and either don't trigger or are immediately openable if none are?
killed jin die on my first try with no healing items. i dont know how i did it... i just kept hitting, rolling
killed jin die on my first try with no healing items. i dont know how i did it... i just kept hitting, rolling
Better than me. Died twice. First was just getting gunned down cause I'm bad. Second, I got shot, staggered backward and fell off the second floor. Died on impact.
Just wait until you reach the second Jin-Die fight. That motherfucker stunlock sewer-beamed me twice in a row, destroying my armor, draining my health from max, setting off my cooked life shroom, and still killing me. Probably my #1 fuck you moment I've had with the game, next to the time I fell into a hidden pit trap and got murdered by a hater while my character was staggering due to the fall damage.
So yeah, the OST is absolutely amazing. I can't stop listening to the [sp]Jackals'[/sp] theme, like holy shit.
I feel like I just shouldn't even bother with tokyo death metro at all unless I need splithium, there'll always be guys stronger than you that can blow through your defenses. Like, just spend all of your money before stopping or there's a good chance you're gonna lose all your stuff
I love the Jackals even though i hate them. They do really fit in the game
I have yet to encounter the Jackals. I think I saw one for like a split second, but he teleported away when I got close.
I have yet to encounter the Jackals. Kind of a good thing you didn't as they're [sp]leveling 200, take 4 damage from Boomshrooms and can easily hit you for over 13,000 damage, plus you can't revive since they "collect" you; so you'll need to pay to get your body back.[/sp]
Wtf there are no elevators even after 3 floor after floor 16 Jin Die. The money-grubbing scheme is becoming more and more obvious
Wtf there are no elevators even after 3 floor after floor 16 Jin Die. The money-grubbing scheme is becoming more and more obvious
There is, you just have to take the right path. The elevators are always in the middle of the tower.

The money-grubbing scheme is becoming more and more obvious
It pays to scour as many floors as you can before you fight bosses, so you can find out the names and note where they are, and then access them when the boss fight unlocks them. Exploring is also good for other things (like resource collection or just general kill coin/spl/exp gain with lower levelled but still survivable fighters)
