I've finally finished making subtitles for my Tomb Raider 3 compilation (I just started doing it for 1 and 2 so everyone could watch it, so it seemed wrong to stop) which ended up to be VERY huge, but it really covers how bullshit this game is, the genuine fun I had sometimes and also unexpected out of game, but still Tomb Raider related moments I had [sp]like replacing all sounds with Lara's NO - worst modding in my life (14:48, 01:02:22)[/sp].
Think you will like it if you want to relive Tomb Raider 3 with some fun stuff on top. I knew about the game for many years, but only completed it recently, so it was semi-blind playthrough. I'm also sorry for some dumb profanity, but I can't really avoid it because it was on stream.

One of the ones I was using doubled the range and damage of all weapons. Along with an FOV trainer it was a nice experience, really unforgiving.

Just seen this post, as it happens I'm playing through The Getaway Black Monday at the moment through PCSX2. I was on a comedown and felt a serious need to play video games from my youth.
I tried playing it on my PS2 but old consoles look rubbish on anything other than a CRT, and the game has serious frame rate issues (I feel looking back a lot of PS2 games had poor frame rates).
Black Monday mostly runs fine at 60fps and proper AA, sometimes a strange green apparition appears in the sky. I'll get some screenshots when I next play it.
Oh and I cry myself to sleep every night there's not another Getaway game coming

AFAIK, the newest PCSX2 has some CRT filters built in that might help. Also, it's possible to overclock the simulated CPU so that it should in theory run better than it did on original hardware. I tried it on Black Monday recently and it seemed to work.

That game sounds interesting, but like every early access game like that it's Steam reviews went down pretty quick. I'm keeping an eye on it since it sounds like it's unoptimized right now.

Some gameplay of Next Day: Survival.
It's not a bad game overall, and i had my fair share of early access survivals to tell you that. It's just bland, without pretension. The STALKER vibes are indeed present though.
I wish it had a first person mode, that'd help.
The way I look at it is as a budget Escape from Tarkov, get this if you want to play escape from tarkov but cant put down all the money for it.
next day is great. all i do is bunker runs. i have a group i play with and we always leave one guy up top with a car. we just pop up, load military vests, helmets and pants in to the trunk and then once we've got all of our inventories full we take off and sell it for 30+k a pop
making money in next day is really easy, so it's not the funnest thing in the world, but at the same time you go through money SO fast when you start pvping the other faction(s) because ammo and even simple gear costs a fortune. sometimes it's better to just hoard the gear you find than sell it
