There's a backstory to your character and his family that you're told entirely through letters, you can tell US military bases, Vietcong tunnels/defensive positions etc have been designed intricately when you're walking around them, and in general its a respectable tribute and retelling of the war and the people in it. Perhaps the most weird attention to detail thing is the fact that when you die you hear and see the letter your CO sends to your parents, changing based on how far into the campaign you are

Gunning down hundreds of VC is great and all but they spawn in front of you behind every fucking blade of grass. I've had dudes spawn next to me, behind me, directly in front of me - it's hilarious until you see a guy come out of the wall in front of you and unload his AK into your chest, killing you immediately.

Some shots of the Maverick training mission in Falcon BMS. I had done a MP mission earlier that day and all my Mavericks were basically trashed and never hit anything. After the mission I looked up how to fire Mavericks in PRE as I'm pretty sure it's completely changed in 4.33 from 4.32. Turns out that they won't be aligned right to your plane's targeting pod and sensors and you need to manually boresight them if you want to use the PRE mode. In the first image I'm aligning them by using a friendly destroyer as reference. Another Hitman one and i'm pretty much done with the BETA. Which was very good by the way, way better than Absolution even in it's current limited form. Still a few concerns about the scripts (you have to do X to trigger Y script, Blood Money had less of these) and optimization of the game, but i'm sure it will be okay eventually. Almost all of them were holdovers from the original Falcon 4.0, including the same exact teaching method of "read this PDF/manual while you play the mission." 4.33's tutorials are designed specifically for BMS and updated to the new stuff in 4.33. 4.33's tutorials (annoying method of teaching aside) are very good. The tutorial manual is worth looking through even if you already knew how to play from 4.32 as it covers a lot of the little things that changed such as Maverick deployment and setting the laser from training to combat.
