My 2 cars in need for speed 2016, I'll try and get some free roam shots later
It's a decent game (I'm playing it on origin access) but I'm 5 hours in and can see that in another 10 hours or so I will have customized all of the cars that I want to customize, and then I'll more than likely be bored. The driving physics are janky as fuck but quite fun (think mario kart, the handbrake just instantly puts you into a sick drift no matter the conditions) and it's annoying that it's always night time. The live action stuff is alright, the AI is a bit shit and has some pretty bad speed adjustment rubberbanding stuff going on. Drift contests can be won in a front wheel drive car that's tuned entirely for grip, because the contests are easy as hell. Every race that I've not come 1st in has forced me to restart because you need to come first to advance the story (this has only been twice because of crashes, I've won all the other races by a big margin)
I almost definitely won't be paying the £45 origin price for it, nor will I be paying £30 by a key site. Wait for it to go down to £15 and it would be a solid buy if you're into arcadey racing games with a big focus on customization/upgrading your cars. The customization is quite a lot of fun
While the game isn't amazing, I have had a fair bit of fun on it though on my PS4, the Frostbite engine looks fucking gorgeous.

None so far that I know of.
Also, the main thing I like to do with GTA mods is install them as addons, that way the original cars don't get replaced and everything coexists.

Is there an easy way to do that for V? I always had bad experiences while modding GTA SA :v:

When I first played GTA V, I was like "why the fuck there isn't GTA IV's euphoria animations for NPCs." (Red Red Redemption had similar too iirc.)

And to me, the npc animations were the single most important detail from IV, the combat and npc's dying felt more grim. GTA V feels more Arcadey, you know?
But hot damn, how beautiful that game is, and how smoothly GTA V performs, just brilliant stuff. Same cannot be said for GTA IV's release back whenever.

I'd assume it's because most of the other female characters aren't pleasant to look at. the fact that the character creation is so lacking doesn't help in making practically anything else either.

I think the character creation is more of the cosmetic items you find in-game than the base models.
I still can't get over how good NFS looks. No racing game comes even remotely close to the looks of this game.
