I seriously need some opinions from you guys about keeping playing this or not, because, 106 minutes in, I'm feeling like I'm playing the first Borderlands game but without the percurial charme that makes it bearable
Also, but maybe it has been some time since release, I can't see all this "incredible design" and "breathtaking graphic" around
Thoughts?

Solid shooter. If you don't like it now you'll probably won't like it later - the only thing that changes is locations (more futuristic looking, Authority and shit). Guns and cars stays mostly the same.

Is that the "Advanced Shading & Lightining Mod"? Where'd you get that from, it seems the version that has GI got removed from everywhere

Odd, I got it from GTA5-Mods a few months ago. It's not actually the mod itself as I don't like the timecycle, so I just took the ReShade from it (which is what adds the AO and GI) and put it on top of VisualV.

It's much better than most ReShade presets because it doesn't do any of the shitty sharpening, noise, colour fiddling, or whatever, but just adds those things. I can PM you the GI files if you want?

I had no idea ReShade could do GI, do you know if it works in other games too or just GTA?

Wait nevermind, I think the latest ReShade has something similar built in, using the AO shader with method 4, SSGI or something. Pretty cool

This is a custom shader made by a guy who goes by Marty McFly, I believe. It's a pretty good GI and AO shader (although the AO is a bit odd with MSAA). Unless they used his work in the official ReShade this is probably different to what it has.

I've read a comment somewhere saying that the reason it looks so bad is that the cutscenes are now done in realtime instead of being prerendered videos, but even then the current consoles can produce far better visuals than this shit

That particular cutscene was in realtime I believe, so I'm not sure that's true.
