Just play Project Reality. It's free, standalone, and a lot more feature/content complete than Squad is currently. It will also help you used to the flow of Squad's gameplay. There still are a decent number of populated servers.

Google smod standalone, they have instructions on how to set it up. It sucks that it was never updated for the latest HL2, but at least this way updates wont break it anymore.

it's probably hard to remake the graphics systems for the engine, which is what Respawn have done, as far as I know. I think they've remade some other notable systems, too, but I don't remember which.

If you export the titanfall models to any other source engine game they look terrible because the shaders have been completely redone in titanfall's engine. i can only assume they look completely different in TF2 too. they use pretty average resolution textures yet the game looks absolutely crisp and gritty
if it's one thing respawn have learned, it's how to make a game have quality call of duty effects like debris and spatter without completely ruining your computer. that is until COD ghosts came out. COD has been a complete shit-show since because they don't optimize anything any more

Haven't played World of Warships in a while, so I fired it up today. Had a few meh rounds, and then the most exciting round I've ever played. Went in with a T4 destroyer, took out 4 ships (3 destroyers and 1 cruiser) solo and finished off a battleship my teammates had been whittling away at.

I tried to get rid of the toggle ui thing, but for some reason the game wouldn't allow me to do so, I didn't ask for this. The game is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
I know it's just because they have a similar environment, but goddamn if those Deus Ex shots don't scream "Half-Life 2" to me. Enjoying the game?
