Practicing landing the F-5 in DCS. Landing this thing requires a completely opposite mindset from the MiG-21 that I'm used to. I was having a really hard time with this but I think I've figured it out.

It's fine to blame both. Developers still are the ones who are responsible for the state of the game at the end of the day.
I used to blame the devs of that game but people just keep buying it despite the fact that it still runs like shit and doesn't get properly worked on.
Yeah the Devs are being dick heads but the people buying the game aren't really helping.

Make sure you flare on the landing more for smoother landings.

People need to stop fucking buying the damn game, that's it really, there's not much else that can be done other than for people to also stop playing it, but I can't see that one happening at all.
If the game suddenly lost a shit load of players playing it, the devs would shit themselves and would most likely fix up the game.

I bought it and refunded it 20 minutes later when it crashed and said "[I]shootergame.exe[/I] has stopped responding"
You know a game is good when the .exe for it doesn't even sound like it has anything to do with it.

It can sometimes be difficult to get immersed in a game when shit like that happens and just breaks it completely, that being said, I've never actually had that problem and I modded the shit out of Skyrim.

Had the urge to start Hazeron again. Current progress on the capital city.

how is it now that it's pay 2 play?
Well since Haxus started Hazeron up again and moved to pay to play, he's definitely a hell of a lot more active with the updates (no more 4 month periods of no news) and has been much more communicative one the forums, so that is definitely nice.
Since going back up he's mainly focused on stability/performance/lag - he's patched up a buttload of memory leaks and client code so that runs a good bit better. Server side he did some huge reworking there and dramatically reduced server load, especially in systems with lots of soldiers. Lot of server hangups/crashes fixed too, so getting stuck in 'limbo' is pretty rare now.
Also been a good amount of neat little features thrown in every once in a while (you can change/do work on any building in a city from a town hall, missiles/ballistic weapons are in, some other cool shit)
Right now he's primarily working on completely revamping the creature system, but still does random fixes/updates like the tractor beam, which he added yesterday.

that's good. i remember a lot of people bitching about how it was turning pay 2 play but if it dramatically increased communication and updates then i thought it'd be great
