I'm absolutely cool with sexualization in games, doesn't even have to make sense. Boobplate and shit is great. Whatever. That's fine. But that model is just ugly. The proportions are all kinds of fucked and low quality and the armor/clothing looks like shit. Fuck, I think the existence of the clothing makes it worse simply with how bad and almost awkward it is. If you're going that far with the sexualization that you make something like that, just strip the fucking clothing and have them run around naked, it'd seriously be less ugly.
The metroidvania style is one of my favorites, but I don't want to play that if it means having to look at that mess of ass and bad design wobble around my monitor in levels ripped from Mirror's Edge.
Are there any fairly recent metroidvania games, 3d or otherwise, that are good and don't star assbot?

I tried Freedom Planet too and I loved it.
Not a particularly big Call of Duty player, but I got the starter pack thing through Humble Monthly this summer and I've got to admit it's probably the only game I've played in which sniper rifles are actually somewhat viable in.
This isn't the best match I recorded but it's one I've had the most fun playing.

It's a shame the Ratchet and Clank movie ended up being such a flop, they'll most likely cancel the Sly Cooper movie. I wonder if the R&C remake sold well enough for them to consider giving the other franchises the same treatment though.
What I wouldn't give for a new Sly or a Sly 1 remake along the same lines as what they did with this game. Or a new Jak & Daxter. I wish these kinds of platformers in general would make a resurgence. With the hardware we have now, they can look so damn good.

Honestly, if the movie is like the game, I can see why it flopped. Don't get me wrong, the presentation and gameplay is spectacularly good, but the story is a huge disappointment from the original. Ratchet and Clank had their personalities completely changed (for the worse), and the overall story is, so far, a good deal less interesting and hasn't had even one twist yet.
Ah well, at least it's fun.

[sp]Clank isn't adjusted too much; he's still kind of a boy scout, but Ratchet is now a nerdy mechanic with a heart of gold and dreams of being a hero in the Galactic Rangers. The snark and selfishness is gone, and he's best buddies with Clank basically immediately. Also Quark is now just simply incompetent and jealous of Ratchet's heroism, not a "villain" like he was in the original. I haven't beaten the game yet so my opinion may change, but I'm 80% through and this is what I've seen.[/sp]

I've mostly grown up with Gran Turismo, but now that Forza Horizon 3 is on Windows 10 I'm looking forward to it, it looks just gorgeous. If only it wasn't $100 AUD (~$80 USD), maybe when it's closer to $40 some day.

Halo 5 and Forza 6 have encryption and run perfectly well for the vast majority of people.
The encryption is shitty for a number of reasons but I'm doubtful that it's the cause of the stuttering.

Forza 6 doesn't use the AppX encryption, only Forza Horizon 3 and Halo 5: Forge.
For me, Halo 5 ran pretty damn bad. Considering my system that is. (gtx 970 & i5-4690K).
Horizon 3 does have some issues when it comes to FPS and stuttering.
Yes I was cynical with my comment. But I've heard that the recommended specs for Horizon 3 were made on an unencrypted game, and that people with the recommended specs are really struggling to maintain a solid 60fps, if at all.
I suppose we'll see once the pirates do their work, or not.
