That's what i said in my previous post. Hence why your job, outside of rendering at the biggest bitrate Youtube allows you to related to your resolution, is to try to reduce how busy a scene is. In the case of ArmA 3 : reducing the sharpness, same for Wildlands and probably the same for Primal. If your game is too sharp, too aliased, and features too much foliage it will look like shit on Youtube regardless.
now go run a game at a resolution below 4K and see how the video output is 50 Mbps.
pretty sure you can use higher bitrate at 1440p

[t]https://my.mixtape.moe/aiegeu.png[/t][t]https://my.mixtape.moe/udjkeb.png[/t] these are lossless captures directly from mpc-hc straight from the original shadowplay output. the first one is 1440p60, the second is 1080p60, both 50 Mbps (i fullscreen capped them with tpucapture which is why the 1080 one is 1440). i want you to look both of these images over and tell me how this bitrate is acceptable for this level of encoding efficiency, because holy shit that edf video is absolutely mangled and it's just 1080p! nothing i said had anything to do with youtube.

Bitrate and quality in general or bitrate and quality on Youtube in general ? Because if we're talking about Youtube your whole post is meaningless since you have mistaken it for a "general" guide to bitrate, when it was in fact a chart by Youtube itself recommending what bitrate you should use for your uploads related to resolution / framerate. They probably encode your footage lower than what they recommend anyway. I mean sure, higher bitrates on Shadowplay would be a good thing, but ultimately it wouldn't change anything with your footage looking like shit on Youtube and that was my point right from the start before you started sperging around. Even if Shadowplay could record in lossless RGB and you straight up uploaded the lossless footage without encoding it the end result on Youtube would be exactly the same (or with very, very marginal differences) as your 50 Mbps footage, encoded or not. Watch the video that Tinter linked.
Some Wildlands gameplay with a friend. Game runs like shit and got major downsides but otherwise it got some potential.
Wildlands is the kind of game that will get by on great concept alone. Who doesn't want to be operator as fuck roaming around Cartel infested countryside with your friends? Even if it's as buggy and downgraded to fuck as you'd expect from Ubisoft, it'll probably still do pretty decently and be pretty fun.

So no, technically speaking they aren't "fucked up before they even get to Youtube" if you record them at 50 Mbps since the compression will ruin them nonetheless. In fact i might even do a lossless recording with DXTORY or Fraps, whatever, and then Shadowplay, post all that on Youtube and just prove your ass wrong, but Totalbiscuit already done that and there's virtually no differences. Yes, your videos looks like a blurry mess according to what you shown. But that's not the main reason why they look like shit on Youtube. By the way, just recorded some FC:Primal with Shadowplay, this is the result : As you can see my bitrate is closer to 100 Mbps than 50 Mbps. Just accept that you're wrong and let's move on.

I don't care for the game, but that looks good.

Without saying "Its pretty much Dark Souls", how good is that game?
Without saying "Its pretty much Dark Souls", how good is that game?
Like Ninja Gaiden with Dark Souls mechanics.
More Dark Souls gameplay. Most of what's filmed is the new DLC.
I'd buy the game just for DD, but alas.
Which DD?
Without saying "Its pretty much Dark Souls", how good is that game?
The combat is different from darks souls in a big way. Even Bloodborne isn't as fast and deadly. It's deep too, you've got 5 different weapons styles and you unlock different moves and skills for them. Plus you have a ninjutsu and a magic skill tree. The game's great, especially if you like Japanese-english accents.
Without saying "Its pretty much Dark Souls", how good is that game?
I thought the trials were dog shit but some people liked it. I thought it was very clunky. Just throwing my opinion in the hat.
Without saying "Its pretty much Dark Souls", how good is that game?
It's not Dark Souls. It's Onimusha with a stamina gauge, with seasonings of Diablo and a touch of Dark Souls. I totally get the whole "it's Dark Souls" but that's a really unfair comparison for this game.

That webm had me fooled for a bit.
"touch" of Dark Souls? It literally looks like a straight up bootleg Dark Souls game. That webm had me fooled for a bit.
It might look like it, but the speed is something that's several fold above any of the Souls-like games. Not to mention it's a bit more character development heavy, rather than just player skill, with unlockable abilities. It has far more in common with Onimusha, or perhaps Ninja Gaiden, than it does in Dark Souls if you can look past the surface. Edit: Also the Webm was literally a person's revenant falling into fire. That's hardly a look into the actual gameplay.
