The original version was 2D. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2RigX8BVlc
Yeah, that's a bit too old. There also doesn't seem to be any strategy elements to that.
There's this game I saw a while back, maybe one or two years ago, where there was only a trailer for it. It consisted of your character working in a hotel/restaurant, and were sent to a room upstairs to deliver food to someone. When your character walks in, you see that the guest was murdered and a voice begins to talk to you, and tells you to lift the lid of the food. This reveals a knife, and that the knife has your finger prints. This makes your character panic and almost get caught by security, and from there it shows you having to run and hide to solve this mystery as some mysterious person talks to you about how they framed you.
I remember someone on Facepunch posting a screenshot of a game where you could build custom ships, and the ship they built was like, the size of a Galaxy, does this sound familiar to anyone?
I remember playing this SNES game on a PS2 emulation disk. You play as Donald Duck and you have a gun. If you stand idle for sometime, Donald will aim his gun from left to right until you move him again.
Was he a Ninja too?

It's also the game I most frequently see people trying to remember in threads like this one.
I remember playing a ps1 sci fi side shooter where it was 2 player one was a hunky man the other a woman the enemies were alien like things can't remember much else.
There was something similar to an RTS where two of the attacks you could use, that I remember, were some sort of land shark, and land dolphin type attack. They would 'swim' in the ground.
Friend on Steam wants some help.
9:54 PM - Josh: I played it a lot in the late 90's 9:54 PM - Josh: It was medieval themed and had this one cutscene where you would walk up these stairs and come face to face with like a skeleton warrior 9:54 PM - Gonzo ®: gameplay? 9:55 PM - Josh: I don't remember much else 9:55 PM - Josh: That particular scene has just stuck with me 9:55 PM - Gonzo ®: anything distinctive about it? 9:55 PM - Josh: The character you played as had brown near enough shaven hair 9:56 PM - Josh: Oh and I think there was a notorious bug where the game would loop in that one scene which stopped you from getting anywhere
Hi guys, I have been trying to remember the name of an old PC game, a game where you could place bombs and mess around a 2D scroll map. Everything was pìxelated (like REALLY pixelated) and when bombs exploded the terrain was modified, disappearing or moving pixels around. Was really colorful and the background was black. It had multiplayer, sharing the screen. I used to play this more than 14 years ago, in my old Pentium I Wndows 95 gaming device (:v:), anyone knows something?

-snip nvm found it-
Larax & Zaco maybe?
By the looks maybe it is what I was looking for! Thanks Yeah, it really was, after all this time!
Does anyone remember some game having a thread on FP, it was supposedly a really small sized game, where you could fly, fire missiles, use boats in some all-out team war? [editline]25th March 2015[/editline] And someone had posted in it not so long ago, with an update, and i think it had something to do with infantry being added, or in the process of being added...
I've been trying to figure out the name of a series of interactive videos that I used to watch in class in Elementary around the early 2000s. It was a mystery game where you had to solve things using basic math. It always had a really creepy vibe to it, and I think I remember some characters being really disturbing looking. I think it might have has Sleuths in the name or something. Not sure if anyone's watched these videos or even heard about them... It was an animated show. It had a mystery in each episode, and during the episode it would give you clues and multiple choice questions that you could answer, at the end it would have a quiz.
There isn't much that I can remember, but there was this (possibly Lego, I played a lot of those back then) online 2D platformer game with many glass pipes that had colorful rings around them (kinda like these, imagine everything else is glass but the joint things). If you went through one end it would quickly transport you to the other end and play that lovely "flump" sound that's still in my head. This has been bugging me for years, so would be neat if someone knew what it was. And no, it wasn't Pipe Dream or any of it's copies.
Don't remember much about this game, but hopefully someone can help me find it again. It was on RealArcade or RealGames, don't remember what it was called back then, whatever it was had games like monkey brains and other odd games. The game was a platformer, I remember you played as a pirate alligator or something, and you would be going through caves? or something, and you collected treasure and stuff. Don't remember much, but was one of my favorite games growing up. Any help would be much appreciated!

It was an animated show, not live action. Should have mentioned that in my post. It had a mystery in each episode, and during the episode it would give you clues and multiple choice questions that you could answer, at the end it would have a quiz.
Hey guys, I am looking for an old from the top down shoot 'em up game in a spaceship/airplane, The only thing I can remember is the final level's boss being a giant flying skull with a snake skeleton. It could be a bullet-hell game as well due to the amount of bullets, but I am not sure. I can also remember someone firing a giant blue beam, but I am unsure if this was the player or an enemy. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Fairly recent game, has a kind of cutesy/cartoony style to it. You play as this (blue?) bird, and there are other animals. It was set in a snowy setting, and was kind of a demo to another game which is yet to be released. Anyone know what the name of this game is? [editline]2nd April 2015[/editline] Oops found it by looking back a few pages in the General Ingame Media thread, the game I was referring to was Lost Constellation
I remember this really old game for the nintendo 64 where you chose from a selection of tanks and then basically ran around killing each other. I remember specifically there was this one tank based off of the karl-gerat, with a stupidly large cannon. If I remember most of the tanks were green too. I think it was also post-apocalyptic or something.

It has a descriptiong similar to what the other guy here posted, you could only play 3 missions in the demo. You have a base that is a big ass tank and you can deploy it and from there build units and stuff, it was better looking than the strategy game you posted so it's not the same. Looking for it, please help.
I'm just going to take a completely bewildered fucking guess and say "Extreme Tactics"
I still haven't got a clue what this game is called, but I do know these things: It's had shared-screen multiplayer. It has a simple level editor. It's at least 8 years old. Gameplay is a sci-fi vertical platformer with rising water. Lots of levels climbing out of mazes with turrets, fans, solid and semi-solid girders, probably more. Getting higher than your friend made their "robot" (cyborg?) hit the water and explode. They'd respawn and continue after a short delay. And it looked something like this:
I remember this old combat flight simulator game released in the late 1990s, and EA had some involvement in it's production - probably as a producer. I think the game also took place in the Middle East during the Gulf War, and I believe the main aircraft was probably an F-22 or F-18 fighter aircraft. I found a game or two fitting that description, Jane's F-15 or F-22 Raptor by Novalogic, but I'm not entirely sure that's the one. Does anyone know of other games fitting this? [editline]4th April 2015[/editline] If it helps any, I remember the intro sequence when the game booted up included an older version of the EA logo placed on a fighter pilot's helmet visor. And there was also a mission that involved taking down a Boeing 707 VIP aircraft.
I remember it's a PC point and click educational game. There are a lot of activities you could do but I forgot most of them, but I specifically remember that in one of the series, you could mix colors into a cube, pyramid and ball thingy with red, blue and yellow. The only thing I remembered is that all the games in that educational series has a bright red boxart.
My friend asked me about a PC first-person shooter from around (2000-2007). It began with your character shown tied up and mafioso all around. You manage to escape and kill all mafioso guys with a Desert Eagle. After that you go to the military base where you also get a neat snowmobile with a gun(at some point you use it to jump over the train). Main character is a dude in a turtleneck with a black hair. There was also a mission on the Moon. In the end main antagonist kills or wounds main character.

Okay, part of this game popped up in my head today and not knowing what it was is bugging me. It was a shooter (can't remember if it was first-person or third-person), around Xbox/PS2 generation, and had a game mode where you had to run around one of the multiplayer maps trying to kill a tonne of identical npcs that just ran away and hid from you. The mode was called clone hunt or something like that. That's all I got.
Kingpin: Life of Crime?
Nah, that's not the one. My friend said it had better graphics and didn't had characters you could speak with.
