Okay, part of this game popped up in my head today and not knowing what it was is bugging me.
It was a shooter (can't remember if it was first-person or third-person), around Xbox/PS2 generation, and had a game mode where you had to run around one of the multiplayer maps trying to kill a tonne of identical npcs that just ran away and hid from you. The mode was called clone hunt or something like that. That's all I got.
Nvm, remembered it out of the blue. State Of Emergency.
Does anyone remember some game having a thread on FP, it was supposedly a really small sized game, where you could fly, fire missiles, use boats in some all-out team war?
[editline]25th March 2015[/editline]
And someone had posted in it not so long ago, with an update, and i think it had something to do with infantry being added, or in the process of being added...
Nobody remembers this? I'm still quite interested in finding it again.

Could it be "A New Zero"?
A ps1 (or ps2?) game where you are some kind of investigator. The Main Character had two pistols. Very dark atmosphere. Maybe supernatural in nature. It probably had "dark" or "night" in its name.
A ps1 game. Hack and slash. Very humoristic. At the start there is a really long cutscene of many people dying in a dungeon in very absurd ways, like a kamikaze pig. The options screen is literally a guy getting tortured. It's kinda popular, and I found it before, but I forgot its name.
When my father first bought the PS1, we explored it a bit without putting a game in it. While on the Memory Card menu, a minigame started playing. We were never able to replicate that. What could that have been?
A military tactical strategy game. You controlled a group of army soldiers. No, it was not a Navy Seals game. You couldn't control directly the soldiers, but you could give order to them. THe selected soldiers had a yellow pyramid on their head, somewhat similar to the Sims.
Some kind of sponsored soccer game, where you selected two soccer players and they were secret agents or some kind of shit. In the first level (which i never managed to beat) there was a soccer ball and red lasers all around it.
There's a Genesis game I've asked about several times in the last few years, but nobody seems to know what it is.
It's a 2 player game where both players play as gnomes/wizards/short people with pointy hats and you ride along on rails in minecarts, and you enter each level through doors.

The hack and slash with a kamikaze pig sounds like Deathtrap Dungeon.
I forget how to access it as its been a long time since I've hooked up my PS1, but I THINK you might be misremembering the visualizer for the PS1's CD player as a mini game.

Oh wow, how did i miss this post??
Don't remember much about this game, but hopefully someone can help me find it again. It was on RealArcade or RealGames, don't remember what it was called back then, whatever it was had games like monkey brains and other odd games. The game was a platformer, I remember you played as a pirate alligator or something, and you would be going through caves? or something, and you collected treasure and stuff. Don't remember much, but was one of my favorite games growing up. Any help would be much appreciated!
Any ideas anybody? This was one of the best parts of my childhood, and am in the mood for some nostalgic fun.
I watched a video of someone playing this game a while ago and I couldn't find it again.
It was basically a space sim where you take control of Humans or a custom race at the point where they developed space travel and you basically had to manage your civilisation.
For making a race it had stats such as gravity and heat tolerance and went into a lot of detail over the race, and it had a choice of randomised ai or a selection to choose from.
One main thing I do remember is one of the AIs you could turn on were robots that would be found around ancient ruins.
I think it was quite an old game though, I didn't really know what to google to try and find it.

Wiz n Liz
This might be a tough one.
It was a fighting platformer for the pc from the 90's. The intro had these green frogs with red eyes invading a city, they were everywhere, even in the popcorn i remember.
You played as baby monsters, who went through a machine in a laboratory to grow into big monsters, who then fought.. something. It's mostly the intro i remember, not much of the actual gameplay.
We called it Monster Fight, but maybe because we didn't know what it was actually called.

Battle Beast.
Hardmode:
Don't really remember anything else except that it was a shooter from the 90s, can't even remember the platform, but on one map there was lava and there was a gun that shot discs that bounce/ricochet off walls

Ricochet or Unreal Tournament probably
it was a free game you could get off of some website, this was way back at around 2006, the website had a few other games, they were knockoffs of zoo tycoon 2 and various zt2 expansions.
however the game im looking for was a 3rd/1st person action/puzzler/platformer on the same site, by the same developer( i cant remember the name). it was a little like indiana jones, except all you had was a desert eagle with unlimited ammo. you start out in a medival crypt solving puzzles and shooting zombies and skeletons. you soon end up in egypt with all sorts of mythical badguys and platforming. some of the badguys were anubis like badguys with khopeshe's, mummies, scorpions, scarab beetles and etc. the design was more realistic as apossed to a cartoony approach(although a dated game) it also had some goofy ragdoll physics.
if anyone could help me find this game i would be super happy
this one is going to be tough, i think.
this is an old western game, i know that at one point you're in a top down click around adventure game and you can pick up items and solve puzzles - what's stuck in my head is that you can click hay and the guy is like "HEY, IT'S HAY!" and you also derail or fix a train at one point? and then you also at another point have to design the most efficient railroad track and it's like in a typical puzzle view. that's all i remember.
1997 - 2001, there was a demo for an RTS on mac os 9 included in a MacAddict cd. It has a descriptiong similar to what the other guy here posted, you could only play 3 missions in the demo.
You have a base that is a big ass tank and you can deploy it and from there build units and stuff, it was better looking than the strategy game you posted so it's not the same.
Looking for it, please help.
Found it ;)
I'm trying to remember this game that was early access a few years ago, it had vehicle construction sorta like Besiege and the purpose was to build a vehicle and get the crash test dummy through an obstacle course without demolishing the vehicle.

That's the one, Thanks.
I was trying to find a game the other but I've completely forgotten the name of it. It was a post-apoc RTS set in a dark urban city, it was published by Sega and there were two factions (mutants & soldiers).
Anyone know what game I'm referring to? In the launch trailer there were mechs and big monster mutants etc.

Yes, that's the one. Thanks!
Hopefully this isn't too far back to bump, but I've got a serious challenge. The game was on a sampler, I think, and my earlier impression was that it was on a LucasArts sampler but now I think it's Psygnosis.
It was a very early 3d game, might have been voxel even. You were a sword-wielding man in a dark dungeon-like setting. You could explore for a little bit, and there were chests that you could open. I think you could find a new sword that glowed. After a little bit, these monsters started attacking you but it wasn't a hack and slash deal. It was pretty tame. I think there was also a wooden door that you could destroy.
Anyways, that's all I remember because I was either too scared to go on or it actually was a sampler and you couldn't get very far.

Kept looking through psygnosis games and it ended up being Ecstatica II

At least it looks exactly like it, and the player character looks right. But there is no dungeon setting. :v:
I'm trying to find the name of some 3d fighting game I played on pc about twelve years ago.
I remember it having a decently sized roster where the characters where divided between two alliances with one side containing generic fantasy heroes (a knight, a teleporting wizard, etc.) while the other mostly contained generic monsters (a werewolf, a gargoyle, executioner with a axe, a skeleton with a mace, etc.)
In the single player you had to beat up all the characters in the other alliance and after that you had to fight four bosses, I can remember some guy in power armour, Satan(?) and Dracula(?).
I also remember being able to beat the entire thing while doing nothing but spamming a thrust attack with the mace as a skeleton.
Edit: Found it, it was called "Iron & Blood".
Web game from bonus.com... was some sort of magic game. You'd walk around on a grid, using spells from materials you had to set traps and take out enemies. Medieval theme I think. I've been looking for years
I played a demo of this game a very long time ago. (At one point afterwards I found a version of the game but it was all in Ukrainian) It was a first-person shooter that was focused on wave-based survival against enemies of increasing difficulty.
As the waves progressed, the enemies (purple or green colored zombie type things if I remember correctly) would even get plate armor as upgrades. There would be gold and silver armor, and there was a dismemberment system in place so that you could shoot off pieces of the armor.
Must've been made in the early-mid 2000's, fully 3D obviously. The only map on the demo was circular and was basically a big walled in hill with 3 spires at the top of the hill.
