Forgotten the name of a game? - Remember it here! v3

Okay, so it was a game I played when I was 12-13 (I think). It was a really fun adobe shockwave game where you played as this really unlucky guy (I think his name was Jim) who "fought" aliens on different planets and settings.
I remember it being a 2D sidescroller, but there were times where it went kinda fallout 2 styled top view.
I think the main protagonist also had a pet which he was looking for in an episode.
There were multiple "episodes" of that game.
One thing I do remember well, is that he had a kinda rasta/surfer dude hair
Like this:

I remember an old SNES game, I don't know if it was an RPG or not but it was zelda-esque, I only remember that the first level is a forrest and you need to inflate yourself with a balloon to go up a broken ladder in a cave. The first boss is a big guy with a stick. Then I think it turns into a shoot-em-up, or maybe that's a different game...
I remember this one DOS game. It was a clone of Space Invaders. It had this giant red monster you had to fight during a boss battle. I can't really remember anything else, sorry.
Sinistar?
There was a video of this game recently here on facepunch but I can't seem to find it now. It has this hovercraft spaceship thing (something similar to audiosurf hovercrafts) which is powered by sunlight. Basically the sun was setting and in order to survive you have to keep up because the ship requires sunlight energy. It also has all sorts of objects falling down such as cubes and other geometrical shapes which you have avoid.

That's the one, thanks.
There was this one xbox original god of war-style fighting game that I played ages ago. The protagonist was a shirtless guy who wore a black mask and fought people with chains. I also remember killing some medusa enemies.
I know this information is shitty but It's all I have.
I've actually never played this game, I've only seen a video of it on YouTube or possibly Steam(can't confirm)
All I remember about the game was the objective was to free fall through these obstacles, hoops and slides in a First Person View, it was very colorful and techno-y and I believe the developers were super indie, In fact I don't even know if the game ever came out
But I'd love to be able to find out
Anybody know?

While the gameplay is almost indentical, it's not the game I remember.
I remember it was very fluid, almost like playing Portal without a Portal gun
It also looked incredibly difficult, like I remember the trailer showed him leaping thru a maze of holes and slides that no doubt had to be pre-planned.
God damn I wish I knew what this game was
It was like all the cool fun shit about Portal but without the Portal gun.
Oops
Wrong quote
That was intended for the guy talking about the falling game
1 2 3 Kick it:Drop that beat like an ugly baby?

I saw a game on X-Play one time, that now I'm not even sure exists. The game was an action game for the Xbox and I think some other systems but I'm not sure. You played a gladiator fighting in gladiatorial combat as the main focus, and could go out into the world to adventure and gain equipment and I think experience. I swear I thought it was just named 'Gladiator,' but apparently the only Gladiator video game on Wikipedia was made in the '80s. I seriously always wanted to play it because it looked cool, but after that episode of X-Play I never saw it again.
Also note there's a similar game where you control a party in a full on RPG game, but that's not what I remember at all. It was a hack and slash game.

That was it! That was it, holy shit. Thanks a ton, it... uh... ... man, it did not age well. Thanks a ton either way, I'm going to check around for it. At the very least I know I wasn't dreaming.

I'm beginning to think this game never got the attention it deserves since that's not it either but also similar gameplay.
I want to say that what I remember seeing looked like new HD and modern . Very much like Portal's graphics and movement I remember he/she designed "Slides" that you would magnetize to and whip you in another direction that simply lead to more holes and maze rooms to fall through.
What they showed in the game was FAST paced, like...watching a professional Portal player run through the most advanced pre-planned course that you'd never be able to figure out unless you knew ahead of time.
I'm wondering if he/she cancelled the project, I remember seeing it within the past 2 years AT LEAST and now that I think on it, about the same year Q.U.B.E hit, that was right after Portal's/2 huge popularity and success.
I played a game where you're a robot and you have limited battery life, and you have to build ladders and conveyor belts and shit to bring resources you mine below the laboratory back up.
I know at one point you could mine the moon.
It was a PS2 racing game, I believe the title began with K, in which no cars were involved and people lied down and had wheels attached to their hands and feet, but I cannot for the life of me remember the name.
[editline]31st August 2013[/editline]
Found it, it was called "Kinetica"
It was a game on the original Xbox where you controlled mechs. If you left the mech you could plant bombs and shit or get into another mech. I can only remember one mission and it was in a city.
Bumping for justice, Mech Assault and it's sequels had a level like that.
Anyway now this has been driving me on walls for days since my childhood but it was a PSX Tekken style fighting game where one of the opponents was a floating flying dragon who kept attacking me with fire, anyone care to help me in this regard?
PS one game, I'm sure it was a net-yaroze game (those games included on demo-disks that fans had made). 2D sidescroller where I think you were a bald dude running through a desert avoiding cacti and enemies and collecting something (dog-discuits maybe)? And I'm sure the name was something relevant to the dog biscuits
EDIT: Nevermind, I found it:

Anyone remember this? It was an RTS game that came out probably between 1994-2004, the box came with a comic about the game that was quite gritty and bloody. The comic included pillboxes that rose up from the ground, and some kind of big alien birds that swooped down and ripped the heads off some sci-fi soldiers, with really detailed drawings. Units in the game included some kind of mechs, and the style overall was C&C-like 2D isometric maybe? I remember playing it with my childhood friend and have no idea whatsoever what it could have been. I remember calling the mechs "invalids", dunno why, maybe their in-game name was similar and it just catched on with us kids.
I remember a couple of years ago there was a top down ascii game inspired by minecraft ( this was a little bit before minecraft exploded into popularity) made by a facepuncher where you could place walls/wires/etc. Does anyone remember what it was? I think it had a name that was somewhat related to math or something.

No, it was made by some guy on FP and had a weird math-related name.
I just remember people making song playing machines on it because at the time that was the only feature that was really useful (other than just drawing shit)

This?
It had some pretty rudimentary 3D graphics, and your character had a football shaped head with a black ponytail, he wore a blue tunic-like outfit and on the cover it showed him riding a green dragon. I think you had to save his girlfriend from aliens or something. All the cut-scenes were pre-rendered. I played it back in like 2003-04.
Nope, sorry, that's not it. One detail I forgot, the graphics are 2D sprites.
Maple Story?
There was this old sidescroller game where the levels had light-brownish colors, and you had to control a man and collect toilet paper rolls, or throw toilet paper rolls. Does anyone remember?
I'm certain the game was called something along "WC"
It's a free, and downloadable game, I can't remember a lot about it.
I think you primarily played as British in Africa during WW2, and controlled a few members of your squad.
if any1 knows this game:
an old game which i played on my dad's windows 2000 pc.
It's a game about destroying all the enemy tanks. It is 3D, and you could also play as infantry.
You could choose with what tanks you started. You had a max of ~20 tanks. You could only drive 1, but it is possible to tell other tanks what to do on the map screen.
I asked my dad about the game so many times, but he only remembers the name had 'war' in it. He didn't bought the game, tough. maybe it came with the graphics card (like a free demo/game).
does any1 know it?

Okay, I would very much appreciate it if someone could help me out here. I remember it being on one of these two compilations, but I can't find a game list for them ANYWHERE. The only one I remember being on it was Jazz Jackrabbit 2. The game in particular I'm looking for was called "[something] Quest". Any ideas?
I'm looking for a game that was for pc around 2000-2007 (sorry for large year range) and basically you would control a remote control car and collect batteries to keep going and such.
