So after the 8gb update my computer has 3gb more free space than before. Did they remove any redundant/needless data?
Either that or they overallocated disk space for the update and then freed up the amount that wasn't actually taken up.
Anyone still have that video where Chief punches Locke and then tells him to piss off?
Just like to point out. They have actually made changes to the FOV. Its not done but you can see they have started to fix it. Its just missing the fov slider. Also, since this isn't really talked about in the changelog the mouse sensitivity did fix a few things - Vehicle Turrets and Gun placements now appear to be affected by mouse sensitivity same with vehicle movement. - FOV change seems to effect gun turrets now and they seem to have resolved the issues that occurred when you did change your fov(so they are working on it). [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/rWkFkwT.jpg[/img_thumb] At 110 fov. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/visZ4q0.jpg[/img_thumb] Where as before you'd notice like seethrough parts on the arms. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/5ZfWfv9.jpg[/img_thumb] 150 fov would have been much worse before yet it seems to have been fixed and looks normal Well, as normal as a silly FOV Looks anyway :v: Still some issues caused by it but I guess they are still working on it [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/XpxIUiE.jpg[/img_thumb] -

This update should make it easier to make a Smash gametype.
This update should make it easier to make a Smash gametype.
Wavedashing in Halo?
Anyone have that FOV/FPS mod that's not cheatengine? NVM, found it. https://github.com/Snaacky/H5Tweak/releases
Doesn't work with the new version though
Gamecheat is updating it
Gamecheat is updating it
and removing ultrawide support. The only reason i'm not playing halo 5 forge.
Why is Forge lagging so badly?
Why is Forge lagging so badly?
Because it requires an internet connection.
Is there any previews for the voice packs? Or nah?

Halo 2 (at least on PC) has some major flaws causing trouble: - The crosshair is not in the middle and the view model, or how you call it, is all messed up. Most people will naturally try to increase the ridiculously low default FOV to avoid headaches. And what happens then ? The gun isn't pointing at the crosshair where it is shooting. The more you increase the FOV the more will the actual aim go down compared to the gun model. With a high FOV you need to hold your gun up to shoot straight. I marked the middle of the screen with a green dot. It's such a mess, the middle of the screen, the point where the gun model is aiming at and the crosshair are all in different points:

Some people tried to fix it, but doesn't seem to work, the original author says it only works in MP. If some programmers want to check it out: Original https://github.com/sndrec/MouseThingy/releases Updated fork https://github.com/Revan114/MouseThingy-Halo2/releases - Another major issue is I can't crouch while running using a keyboard(I checked, others reported it too). For a game with regenerating health where you need to find cover all the time in a hurry this is a big problem. I would also mention some other first impressions: - very shitty ragdoll physics implementation that looks worse than what ever they used in the original - the AI seems to be worse than in the first game (I know the terrain is more complex now), enemies get stuck and sometimes ignore me when I'm in front of them(at least on Heroic) - overused bump mapping - I don't like the new voices for the enemies
Are you talking about Halo 2 Vista?
Are you talking about Halo 2 Vista?
Well, yes. Btw, I forgot to mention the stupid flashlight. Why would you make a flashlight that shuts itself after 5 seconds because the game thinks the scene is bright enough ? I thought it was a bug. That is so annoying and stupid.
well his flashlight is probably battery powered so it's probably an energy saving mechanism. why would you need to shoot something for more than 5 seconds?
Halo 2 had a flashlight?

It's also simply not possible to rebind some keys.

Either Halo 4 or Halo 5 centred it again. Bungie gave a reason why, but I don't recall what it was.
It lines up with the gun barrel
^ ye It lines up with the barrel and it stops people from making headshots if just the tip of their head (and therefore their camera) is peaking over a hill. Honestly it's a really good solution for a serious problem, but it's put people off more often than not

Forge has come a long way.
I'd never noticed on a tv screen, sitting far away, but on a PC monitor it pisses me off
I've always liked it. Is it just me, or is Halo on PC not that popular at all? There are only like 80 people on right now, I remember custom edition like 5 years ago no matter what time of day, it had at least 300 people playing, And that's years after launch, this just came out a couple months ago and it seems, dead.
