Are vehicle models (including damage models) interchangeable at all with Halo 3s models? Reason I ask is because I've never seen H3 vehicle models ported to Halo Online.

I've been placing the hatches from high ground all over the ceilings and floors so infected can bash through either and possibly scare people, it's gonna be flashlight focused and hopefully it doesn't play like shit since I'm focusing so much on atmosphere and detail.

I really wouldn't mind a flood inspired horror game like dead space but with more influence from Mona Lisa.

If someone wanted to try emulating Halo 3/ODST like in that video, where might they start? Can you do it with stuff found online or do you need a modified Xbox?

I'd ask "why the fuck are they throwing Halo 4/5 assets and goddamn Scarabs at the Halo 1 story conflict" but it's a lightgun game and at this point I just don't think I can care anymore.

because 343 put no work into this game at all. Literally, it was developed solely by Raven Arcade.

Someone told me to blame Microsoft more than 343 for Halo problems nowadays, and I wasn't blaming 343 specifically, I know it's just pre-made assets awkwardly slotted in by someone else to make an arcade game. It just roasts my almonds. Could've fleshed out the Covenant battle on Earth, conflicts in the more recent stuff in the timeline, or whatever, but instead it's a 4-man ODST squad slaughtering their way through the Halo 1 backdrop with 4/5 assets instead of anything from the anniversaries (H1 Anniversary awkwardly reusing Reach stuff aside). It's just kind of jarring, i'm probably just being a whiny butt about this for no real good reason.

It's not even a proper Lightgun. It's one of those turret systems. They arent so satisfying to use. Heck. Ghost Squad, Rising Storm (I can't remember it) and the Terminator Salvation Arcade machines have full on rifles. Wouldn't this feel better with the Assault Rifle? Or even just a Magnum if we want to go the Time Crisis or House of the Dead route.

Look on the bright side, it's gonna be a story on the original installation 04 not focused on the master chief. hell, one of the clips looks like there is level just as the Autumn is crashing in that desert area also it's an arcade game, there is no major to get panties in a twist, it's not as bad as Konami teasing us with a remake of Snake Eater then making it pachislot shit

Well that male hologram people are speculating is from the novels. Grimm has said there will be lore tidbits in the game.

Turns out Spartan Locke was secretly on the Pillar of Autumn and he fought the Covenant on Halo too. The big reveal of the lightgun game is that you were playing him the whole time!

I'd assume that's the AI from The Flood, the tie-in novel form the first game. Had a bunch of stuff about ODSTs doing something while the Chief was off adventuring.

The Flood also had that character that was a Flood infected human who regained consciousness and control of his body and worked with the other humans on how to survive.
