...Is she holding that Carnifex backwards?
yes
Wow. I've been really forgiving with this game so far, even looking past some of the bad animations, but this one's really something. How do you mess that up??

It might be FrostBite engine fault.
It might be FrostBite engine fault.
I'm willing to credit a lot of faults like the weird hand thing that was posted earlier to Frostbite, but I don't see how it could've rotated an entire firearm 180 degrees. Besides, how did nobody notice? A lot of animation issues so far have been single-frame things that are easy to miss but this isn't.
The majority of Frostbite games use Motion Capture for animations (Battlefield, FIFA, Mirrors Edge etc), but for some reason Bioware never use it. They didn't use it for any of the original trilogy or Dragon Age games, moved to Frostbite for Inquisition and carried on doing animations by hand.

I doubt this is true.

10 minutes into Full Metal Jacket & chill and she gives you this look
is this going to be a massive flop? literally everything I've seen has been met with overwhelmingly negative reception

I'm thinking based on gameplay footage i've seen so far from Pax, it will be.
Although i'm waiting until Total Biscuit's review before i ultimately decide, he tends to be objective in his reviews, got a feeling it's going to be pretty funny to watch.

why the fuck is this allowed? and no consistency, not even what asaris look like in this game.
I mean, it does look like Liara.
yeah but it's stolen from a fan who wasn't even credited or contacted, most likely
So we're just going to assume they stole it?
So we're just going to assume they stole it?
im assuming theyre lazy as fuck
I can't actually remember 3's launch trailer.
Of interesting note is that the shot of the skyscraper falling with the palm trees was stolen from Battleship.

People act like ME3 didn't have shit animations and camera angles. Do people not remember talking with Liara while staring over your shoulder, even though she's right in front of you? Or the camera staring at a blank space after rescuing the Council?
Wow, they put the Hammerheads in the cinematic trailer despite them making excuses saying the facility where they were being improved was destroyed. Totally forgot about that
So... why does everyone fap over the Leaving Earth theme and it's accompanying ending song? It doesn't match anything else in the series thematically or even instrumentally. It's just 'sad' music for sad music's sake.
It's memorable and one of the few recognizable ME3 tracks

Do they? I remember this thread had a lot of people complaining about Leaving Earth because it's just a generic Zuckerman track that doesn't match the rest of the series. I can't even remember what it sounds like.
Every time I go into a thread of game music there's people going "BEST TRACK IN ME SERIES"... the rest of the fucking music in the same game doesn't even sound like it

No they were only talking about the Hammerhead in Normandy's hangar. It was being retrofitted just like the Normandy, but at a different location and is most likely destroyed.

I think ME: Andromeda will be a flop, I can feel it. It'll probably have the best combat of the series, but everything else will be awful/mediocre.

Here's the whole scene, it looks pretty hilariously bad.

Bonus points for her shoulder slightly clipping through her rifle

This so much, this isn't new or an engine fault. There was so much jank in animation, cutscenes and facial expressions in the previous ME games.
I think the least janky was probably ME1.
I think the least janky was probably ME1.
I replayed that game a couple days ago. The faces in that game are pretty HILARIOUSLY janky. Animation was probably at its best in ME2, imo. The run animations in 1 and 3 are so fucking stupid looking.
