Multiplayer trailer coming out tomorrow, finally.

I need whatever tiny gun the Salarian has
Whats all the pro-human stuff they keep going on about. What about all the other races that are involved in this expedition? Chopped Salarian liver? Like if this was a game all about being a Cerberus Operative I could understand but every bit of promotional stuff is about Humans or Humanity. Hell even their release trailer song is "Human" for fucks sake.
I'll tell you why.
When you need a problem shot, ask a Turian. When you need a problem talked to death, ask an Asari. When you need a new problem, ask a Salarian. When you want a problem fixed, ask a Human.

I dunno, I don't think those humans over at Bioware are doing a very good job fixing things at the moment.

So i think the game is going to need more then a day 1 patch
I am loving all of this bad voice acting and bad animation :v:,i am hoping this ends up as the video game version of The Room.

Bad voice acting and animations does not a videogame The Room make. Besides why would you ever hope for something like that?
The words "Day One Patch" keep springing to mind
I mean that's a given. Every single game released in the past 5+ years has had a day one patch because they keep working on the game after it goes gold.
Bad voice acting and animations does not a videogame The Room make. Besides why would you ever hope for something like that?
I like bad games personally there is comedy to them for me, the gameplay of this looks solid but everything else i have seen looks like trash and i am serious when i am saying i look forward to that.
to put it in perspective one of my most loved games is two worlds.
Also i know it does not make it The Room,i am hoping it ends up to that level of bad acting and yes i am well aware i am in the minority for this.
Reminds me of Inquisition when they had that animation that made no sense, then it disappeared when it was released. It still had a ton of other terrible stuff though like that Elf with downs.
I wonder if all the glaring issues that there are with the animations and such will significantly impact sales at all? Even if we don't have everyone rabidly pre-ordering, a bunch of people in this very thread said they'd wait for a sale before buying it, as if they're still interested in it. I personally want this to be good but it isn't looking that great.
Animations won't impact sales, it'll be the reviews that will decide how many are going to buy it.
[editline]13th March 2017[/editline]
I mean if the game is actually good from trusted reviewers I'll buy it, despite how it looks. My reason is that all those glaring issues just feel like signs of bad impression.
I'm going to buy it pretty much regardless, I've yet to not enjoy a Mass Effect game, and everything I've seen on the gameplay front has convinced me that silly cutscenes or not this is going to be a blast to play
ME has never had good animations, and this game not having them is pretty much parr for the course
Do we have any idea what time the early trial starts on Thursday? Been poking around but haven't been able to find much.
Would be nice if they did a preload but I don't think that's gonna happen.
Friday is pre-load for the normal release date but you're probably talking about a pre-load for origin access and yeah, I don't see anything other than Thursday for that.
More confirmation that all of the (female?) Angara look awful still

Slender bodies, long arms, wide shoulders, and BOTOX LIPS
Finished Mass Effect 3 for the first time
even knowing it was coming the ending was still real bad, IMO
Got to the end of Mass Effect 3 for the first time

Which ending did you pick
Which ending did you pick
and did you remember to download extended cut.
Which ending did you pick
I played destroy and control both at maximum EMS and didn't really love either
the lead writer locking himself in a room and not taking any outside input on the ending for a game series as lengthy, narrative focused, and well-liked as mass effect was probably a bad idea
and did you remember to download extended cut.
yes and I pity those that played through it the first time without it because this was still pretty underwhelming
I know this is ancient history at this point discussed many, many times but I only actually got there just now

Maybe you'll be like me, and in a few years you'll come to be "okay" with the game as a whole. Or, maybe you'll end up like this guy
[t]http://i.imgur.com/sCJovqS.png[/t]
Either way, I don't think that the game is all that bad. The ending choice makes very little sense (why does shooting the thing cause an EMP), but all-in-all I think of Mass Effect 3 as a series of conclusions to the stories you've seen throughout the series. It's not that bad.

I'm not ridiculously angry or anything, I just felt like it was a really unsatisfying note to end the story on when I was pretty much fine with almost the entirety of the rest of ME3. You're forced to end the big climactic war on the terms of a 2deep4u starchild who does a bad job of explaining itself and ultimately ends up coming off as petty and ignorant- which would be fine in itself if they gave you the opportunity to criticize it more deeply, but instead you get a few brief "i like it/i don't like it" dialogue options and then either go along with making the choice it gives you or tell it its choices are bullshit, which nets you an immediate flowery game over. Also, every option but destroy even with extended doesn't really give you much in the way of closure, I felt like. There were too many variables and things that could conceivably go very wrong with the reapers out and about in control and synthesis, which rendered them kind of uncomfortable to take. I personally felt like none of them were really long enough to be a satisfying epilogue to a game that was largely about the big picture of the universe, either.
Oh, and none of the endings mention the returned Leviathans either at all which I might remind you have the power of long range mass mind control and consider all other species inferior.
That little rant got out of hand but at the end of the day I feel like it was a really poorly done ending and a good ending is pretty damn important. I still had enough of a good time with the rest of the franchise that I can kind of look past it and enjoy everything before it for what it was, though.
I disliked that they didn't tie up all loose ends since mass effect 1, such as the artifact you find in Mass effect 1 due to the Consort, and finding another in Mass effect 2. The dying suns caused by Dark Matter in Mass Effect 2, or the other thrasher maw survivor and his squad he made in Mass Effect 2.
There's an embargo on the first three hours, which should lift today.
Also here's a screen from the multiplayer:

I think the dark matter thing was originally meant to tie in to the overall motivation of the reapers back in early (pre-ME3) drafting. But hey, we got AI made to kill you so you don't make AIs that kill you.

It's been 5 years since the game and even though I'm not mad about it anymore, I'm still baffled by how unbelievably stupid it is.
Whens the damn trial preload EA

Anyone else notice that all of this species looks cross eyed?

Afaik there is no trial preload, only pre-purchase preload.
Afaik there is no trial preload, only pre-purchase preload.
This.
I told someone in my class the animations in ME:A look bad. His response was "you look bad".
A+ Bioware fans
