I've been waiting for it for too many years And now it looks like they rushed the game faster than B with p90
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/b16wllO.jpg[/img_thumb] I think I did a pretty good job with FemRyder, despite the shit ass character customization options.
I would love to use this face for when I do a FemRyder playthrough.
Yeah, I wonder if certain presets are the result of someone really wanting a look for the characters, as they fluctuate from "Better than the original" to "Actual human monster". Like some of the characters on the bridge of the nexus holy shit are they funktacular looking
I would love to use this face for when I do a FemRyder playthrough.
You can import character customization data, I can upload it later when I get home from work!

Lazy as shit but it works in that they do genuinely look like a family in what I made.
Ugh they got rid of manual saves during missions, the hell bioware
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/b16wllO.jpg[/img_thumb] I think I did a pretty good job with FemRyder, despite the shit ass character customization options.
Ha, I just stopped playing to ask about an issue to discover we've made almost the same FemRyder. The customisation is crazy limited. Aside from that. Is the depth of field fucked in conversation for anyone else? It's like if something isn't in immediate focus it's a blurry, pixelated mess. It's so fucking distracting I can't stand it.
The game keeps crashing. Like, a lot in multiplayer
Any have audio sync issues in SP?
Pretty much reached the limit for the single player trial, really happy with it and the small number of sidequests I did. Multiplayer is really fun when your host isn't shit.
Honestly, after seeing these two clips with the tired face and where ryder takes the gun and doesn't get shot immediately by the surrounding guards (not to mention the rest of the scenes unbelievably terrible dialogue), I can't believe anyone who says this games story and voice acting aren't terrible. Those were quite easily the worst scenes I've seen in a game in a long time. And one of them was promo material. I was looking forward to this game when they first announced it, as I enjoyed all 3 of the first games up until the ending bit. Now though, I don't trust anyone who gives it a positive review regarding script and VA.

There's a few bad ones that stick out, like Addison and Tann, but by and large the voice acting is competent enough. Writing has plenty of "Bioware-isms," but I haven't noticed much in the script that's offensively bad either. Remember, it's remarkably easy to cherry pick the worst elements of something and pretend that's how the entire thing is. Same goes the other way around too. Overall I'd say it's a solid 7/10 from what I've seen so far.
Has anyone encountered a Shepard mention yet? I've heard the messages from [sp]Liara[/sp]
Multiplayer has been fun so far, one match had a terrible host and lots of rubberbanding, but I keep having crazy audio issues in it. None in the single player but in MP it's like all the sounds going on in the map are always right behind me, not to mention there's some crazy desync going on and a few times the audio has cut off completely until I restarted the game.
I'll still be getting this game, warts and all. A lot of the fun I had in the first three was trying to do weird animation bugs (like Shepard's weird gliding run in ME3) because it was stupid as shit and made me laugh. As long as the combat is solid, it's all good to me.
Looks like its got that patented bioware jank that I love/hate
I bought Origin Access but that thing still asks me to buy it again.
Facial animations look dreadful
So on the Hyperion after the first mission [sp]in your dads quarters you can find a model of the SR2. You can pick it up and it will appear in your quarters on the Tempest. Although it seems to lose its colour and get twice as big[/sp]
Are the facial animations better on custom characters?
There is a SpaceX rocket in your quarters on the Tempest :v: It adds a codex entry about early human space flight. With more mentions of SpaceX. Someone at bioware is a fan
Anyone else just getting INSANE temperatures playing this? Feels like my PC is gonna burn up any second.
Game was clearly built for controllers I'm very surprised by this game. I wanted to hate it going in, I don't like the banter or arrant dialogue at ALL. But the gameplay skills system is gold. I could shoot things for a long time in this game. Mobility is amazing. Animations and the like fall down. You can see the difference between a character they cared about versus one they didn't. Tried out the character customization and I'm shock that you have less control over it compared to other RPGs
Game crashed after the first mission Kinda sucks
Can you customize both Ryder's? Like in Fallout 4 where the spouse you don't pick keeps whatever changes you made to their character. I hope people that chose male Ryder don't have to live with that ogre of a sister.
Your customization affects DadRyder as well.
Which is probably why the customization is so limited, now that I think about it. Honestly, I think that's a pretty shit-tier excuse. I wish they'd done what Fallout 3 did, and changed your Dad's look based around what race your character starts with, instead of trying to reverse engineer your dipshit demon spawn looking characters into a human being that could've possibly given rise to it. Personally not a trade off I would've made. I was fiddling with Inquisition's creator two days ago, and so far the CC is the only really BIG disappointment I have. Which is weird, since I never used custom faces in the original trilogy. I liked the defaults too much. If you want an example of the writing and VA play the demo, or watch the "Liam Loyalty Mission" video. The latter has some genuinely hilarious moments. [editline]16th March 2017[/editline] Also, I'd like to take a minute to talk about subtle environmental changes based on your actions. Spoilers for literally the opening mission on Habitat 7;[sp]I think it's pretty neat that the medical bay in the cryo lab fills up with people based on who you're able to find, and save. They reference what happens on the planet, and the bad things that happens to anybody you're not able to. I like it. It's very neat.[/sp]
Tried out the character customization and I'm shock that you have less control over it compared to other RPGs
Kinda baffled how a company goes backwards with its character creator. Especially when said company pretty much only makes RPGs.
Which is probably why the customization is so limited, now that I think about it. Honestly, I think that's a pretty shit-tier excuse
Not even a passable excuse. Fallout 4 had plenty of customizaton and it affected [sp]how your son looked as a baby and an adult.[/sp]
Anyone else just getting INSANE temperatures playing this? Feels like my PC is gonna burn up any second.
Pushes my 1080 pretty hard at 71c with 100 percent fan, but I have about a 15 percent overclock on it and its a founders edition :v: CPU is a 5820k, usually hovers around 55c but that's also overclocked as well
