Because you have to pay staff writers all year long.
God I dislike the galaxy map, feels clunky
God I dislike the galaxy map, feels clunky
I get what they were trying to do, make it more immersive. But going around to scan every planet gets annoying when you have to spend 20 seconds getting to the next one. Maybe it was just annoying because of the limited amount of time we have with the trial and it felt like wasted time.
I really hope they release another patch to fix all the apparent issues. The Day One patch is already included with the review copies and trials, so it's really not looking good in some aspects. Still gonna buy it next Tuesday though.
Holy fuck I just had so many fucking problems starting a new game I picked quick start Sara Ryder, started the game waking up inside a black man on my bench. When the gravity fails, these 3 people including the black man in my seat previously occupying my physical space, don't move an inch, the crate flies right through the black ghost. When I get to the place it makes you get your scanner out, it's bugged so I cannot do that and the games progress is totally halted. Wait as long as you want, that thing ain't going to blow. [editline]16th March 2017[/editline] This kinda shit sours me against the game heavily. The fuck is that [editline]16th March 2017[/editline] I don't know if I want to reward Bioware with a full price purchase at release for a fucked up game like this. It's not a good message to send [editline]16th March 2017[/editline]
I get what they were trying to do, make it more immersive. Wow cool, I died because some enemies spawned inside a big rock so I couldn't shoot them but they melted me.
If you're a host for MP, do NOT pick the human soldier if you have someone one your friends list joining from the lobby.
If you're a host for MP, do NOT pick the human soldier if you have someone one your friends list joining from the lobby.
Elaborate.
There's nothing to elaborate on. The kit code has a memory leak and will crash the host, the amount of time depends on how much memory the host has, if the host picks the kit, they'll crash even sooner.

I tried scanning several planets before finding out that scanning on the galaxy view shows what can be scanned for resources. I keep crashing in Multiplayer and I meet the Recommended Settings ... anyone experienced similiar/managed to fix it? Singleplayer hasn't crashed at all for me yet.
Did anyone post this
Seems like there are only two types of characters you can make; waifus and something that is on-par with the amalgamation of TES Oblivion and dark souls creators pushed to their very limits
Seems like there are only two types of characters you can make; waifus and something that is on-par with the amalgamation of TES Oblivion and dark souls creators pushed to their very limits
Can anyone elaborate on this a bit more? Because they are really trying my patience at this point. [editline]Today[/editline] I'm also told that, much like the protagonists of Fallout 4, the female protagonist is far more "considerate" and "snarky" than her male counterpart

MP is the same as ME3 but with more options/variety but now boosters and shit It's decent but >p2p UGH [editline]17th March 2017[/editline]
Can anyone elaborate on this a bit more? He gets shit talked by numerous aliens and your replies are "sorry :(" and "ok sir"

I'm disappointed with the conversation options really. I have bought it and I will continue to play it though since it's still a decent game, but not a Mass Effect game.
Jeeze, the animations aren't just lazy with the humans. Every species is missing the nuances that they used to, parts of the Turian's faces that used to animate properly now are completely static.
This is an OCD detail, but can you crouch outside of using cover? I found the lack of cover-independant crouching in ME2/3 very infuriating, and I'll probably find it even more annoying in an open world/outdoor game where I'm probably going to be doing long range sniping. I'm still not sure why Bioware sees/saw it necessary to remove fairly basic character mobility options, and I don't like how it makes the games feel more like ridgid cover shooters.
Not Andromeda related, but I forgot how fucked up and strange Overlord is.
Looks like i'll be waiting til it's on sale, lazy developers.
Not Andromeda related, but I forgot how fucked up and strange Overlord is.
The Light Novel/ Anime? Been reading the light novel, and yes, yes it is.
The Light Novel/ Anime? Been reading the light novel, and yes, yes it is.
I'm guessing the DLC for Mass Effect 2 :v:
The multiplayer is so buggy holy crap
It's incredibly hard to remain optimistic about this game when people tend to respond to your mild criticism about the pre-release trial with sentences akin to "You are a pessimist douchebag who can't enjoy anything"
I don't understand how Mass Effect 2 is still way better looking than this. Sure the environments are nicer but the models and lighting was done so much better in 2.
ME2 had Tim Miller helping out with visual effects before he went on to do deadpool so maybe that helped
The multiplayer is so buggy holy crap
How? Just played a few rounds and it was really great.

I feel like the general feeling of this game was fluctuating here a lot before the early access trial, but now it's mostly "a pretty good game with them bioware quirks"
How? Just played a few rounds and it was really great.
The multiplayer is great when it works, but the last 5 rounds I played ended up with the host migrating after 30 seconds, I always ended up as the host and due to some strange rubberbanding phenomena I was forced to spent the entire match in slow-motion with a overly sensitive mouse. This happened all those rounds and it sucks, P2P is shit.
the marketing team seriously dropped the ball, showing off the worst parts of the trial for some reason it really is basically just a decent game with Bioware stamped all over it that said, the writing isn't up to bioware's usual snuff in some places. not that that snuff was that high in the first place
