The game feels a lot better without the trial timer breathing down your neck, so far I have found exploring Eos to be quite fun when you can take the time for it.
I didn't find the collapsed settlement homes until my 2nd runthrough of Eos, and they're literally right outside the gate to Site 1. Also the [sp]vault felt like something out of Halo.[/sp]
The game feels a lot better without the trial timer breathing down your neck, so far I have found exploring Eos to be quite fun when you can take the time for it.
Yeah I felt the exact same way, like knowing the front door is going to be knocked on or the doorbell rang for something important, giving you a time frame of when to expect it.
Man, I saw the 2GB patch and was hopeful, and so far on the PS4 the animations didn't look as bad, and I didn't have any lag or slowdown issues like some people have had, but then I get to where Phebe's pistol is backwards and fucking cringed, at this point are they just not going to fix that at all?

It's a long game. There's probably a lot of animations to fix.
What's up with the Jailer and the Prisoner? Their faces are unpainted
Damn, I've had ME1 and 2 on Steam for years now and I haven't really played them (got to Feros on ME1, ran into a game breaking bug, and didn't pick it back up) and I decided to play and finish them. I'm now currently a good ways into ME2 after having played ME1 in two days. Games are fantastic. Hopefully ME3 is also good, and then I may pick up Andromeda as well.
I did the same after originally playing ME2 and not picking it back up after my save disappeared. Then I played ME2 and 3 back to back. 3 was good for me, I wasn't disappointed though I can see how everyone could be disappointed when it came out.
Can I delete the trial and preload the normal game? Or will the trial somehow transition into the normal game after it's released?
Can I delete the trial and preload the normal game? Or will the trial somehow transition into the normal game after it's released?
The trail game disappears and the normal game becomes unlocked and fully installed, so don't uninstall the trail.
Can I delete the trial and preload the normal game? Or will the trial somehow transition into the normal game after it's released?
trial is the full game, but locked unless you want to download 40gb+ again, just wait for the release date and it will work
29 hours in and I'm probably not even a quarter of the way through. [sp]Just done Havari. Went back to Eos and fought the Architect. 94% viability yeaaah[/sp]
Played a few hours after getting home from work tonight. Thus far, the game is exceeding my expectations (which were admittedly tempered by the doom and gloom swirling around the game leading up to release).
At this point I think the most important question is [sp]can Ryder dance or are they just as bad as Shepard[/sp]
At this point I think the most important question is [sp]can Ryder dance or are they just as bad as Shepard[/sp]
Shepard is allowed some eccentricities
gotta take a moment to say how much i enjoy the apex app for strike missions my main problem with the war table shit from DA:I was that this shit is boring as fuck to do when i'm playing, my time is limited and when i get to the game i don't want to sit there waiting a clock tick while virtual people do virtual errands. i really don't mind sending them do that with my phone while i'm working or stuck in traffic though, and its always sweet to get back to my SP campaign and reap the rewards (specially when i get some materials with it) knowing EA they will probably turn multiplayer components into a pay2win fest but this aspect of the whole strike teams thing looks like will be useful all around till the end of the game oh and good stuff i've heard about - when you start new game + you can choose which twin you wanna play. now i don't feel like i've wasted time making my brother on the CC
What the fuuck is with PB? Every animation for her is broken or like, out of sync. At least Turian milf is fiiine
I usually have subtitles on when playing which means I am too busy reading to see the horrific animations. Problem solved
I find it bizarre how the subtitles start a good couple of seconds before anyone starts talking. I'm constantly thinking the audio is broken or missing.
So I'm almost through ME3, just finished, Thessia, Horizon, and I'm currently in ME3: Citadel. So remind me again why everyone hates Mr. Space Ninja. He doesn't seem that bad, I'm mean bland sure but I don't have a reason to hate the character.

Well, I had my first bug. This dude's face vanished, and they followed me around saying nothing for a good 90 seconds.
Is the Tempest the most unfitting name for an exploration ship ever?
She looks better as a hologram [t]http://puu.sh/uUGNW/f4d00569c1.jpg[/t]
She looks better as a hologram [t]http://puu.sh/uUGNW/f4d00569c1.jpg[/t]
All the holograms in the game look kinda fucked up, especially the omnitool.
Is the Omni tool supposed to look like a pip boy or is that also a bug?
i think that one is intentional, yeah nothing more scifi than people typing random shit furiously on some hologram keyboard
All the holograms in the game look kinda fucked up, especially the omnitool.
I don't know why they decided to go away from the cool 2d looking holograms in Mass Effect 2 to shitty ass looking 3d ones
I don't know why they decided to go away from the cool 2d looking holograms in Mass Effect 2 to shitty ass looking 3d ones
the design changes between ME2 and this also seem like a retcon. i can see a SAM user (like alec ryder et al) using a different hologram interface but is there an in-universe reason why andromeda initiative members have new omnitools that can also turn into physical omniblades? not like ME3 did any favors in that regard either, though.
I mean, I've noticed they have both, the right hand has the conventional tool and omniblade generator, that they use for offensive powers, while the left has the extensive scanning suite and SAM interface
Really bothered by the lack of customization for companions
i'd rather have that as a priority patch even more than CC expanded options or fixed animations combat is the soul of Andromeda, it's what keeps me coming back, and the shitty companions take me away from it. give me the option to change their loadouts (which would make crafting and inventory managing better too because i would care more about weapons other than snipers - which is all i use - for them instead of just mindlessly scrapping everything) and use their powers, hell make the game harder because of it, i don't mind
I don't know what to do. Yeah, there's a quest list, but I feel like, overwhelmed.
every time i get to a new planet i drive/walk around looking for the actual limits to my exploration instead of following any markers if i cross a quest place while i'm doing that, great, i do it, why not. but i dont actually look to do anything but explore and i'm having fun doing that. MMOs ruined me
